I buy this brand when it's on sale just because the price is a bit higher compared to other brands. I guess it's also because of the taste and texture that causes the price difference. I am watching my glucose intake due to gestational diabetes -- which hopefully goes away in a few weeks as I've already given birth, so the carb content of these wraps are important to me, The carb content is not much different from other brands though so it's not a selling point for me. What I like about this one is the high fibre content. I wouldn't have the tools to verify but from my personal experience of having consumed it for two weeks, it helped a lot with my scheduled toilet breaks.

This wrap also doesn't break easily. This is important when you're trying to make a really filling protein-enriched wrap with chunky avocado, chicken, cheese and lettuce slathered with a thick sauce or vinaigrette. I like using this wrap because despite of the thickness of the fillings I put in, it doesn't break or crumble. It won't close though but that's expected. I usually force it to "close" by tying string cheese around it or just lessen the filling and have two wraps instead.

All in all, good product but would only still buy it when on sale.

So pleased to have been given the opportunity to review a selection of Farrah wraps. These wraps come in a variety of flavours, in easy to open, resealable plastic packets. So you can use one or two wraps, then reseal, and pop in the cupboard or freezer. Each packet is clearly marked with the type of wrap, ingredients list, and storage info etc.

The wraps are soft, and simply delicious. We used the High Fibre wraps to make home-made pizzas. I was a bit sceptical at first, but so glad we did. Using the recipe found in the recipe book we were also given to review; we adjusted the recipe and put our pizzas together. One had a base of two wellness high fibre wraps and the other had a base of three wraps (two high fibre with a fire roasted pepper wrap in the middle), each layer had a sprinkling of cheese to hold them together. Topped with our family's favourite toppings and sauces and within minutes we had simply yummy looking wrap pizzas that not only looked good for you but also tasted delicious. My kids actually prefer these over traditional pizza bases.

The other great thing about the wraps, aside from the versatility and wonderful taste is their ease of use...take them out of bag, warm in microwave or pan, fill, roll and eat...can it get any simpler? ease of use aside, the other great thing is storage. You can freeze for up to 3 months or store in air tight container in pantry for up to 7 days...perfect.

Farrah wraps definitely get two thumbs up from us Smile Icon

Well, there is not that much distinction between these wraps and the other white wraps, but one thing is for sure: they weren't that bad. I used these wraps to try a recipe from the Farrah's wraps recipe book, but unfortunately I botched up the heat on the stove, and ended up burning the garlic butter I used to make it; so the end result was that the meal didn't turn out that well, but I do not have the wraps to blame for that, but rather the butter used to fry it.

The wraps didn't look very different from the other white wraps, but the fact that it is high in fibre means that it is slightly more healthy, and they felt rather healthy as well. If I try to remove the taste of the burnt herbs and the butter, the wraps tasted good, they also cooked rather fast, and they were also pretty sturdy as well, so they didn't break or crack when being cooked.

I am still amazed by the fact that these wraps don't make me feel like I've just eaten junk food, they are actually the total opposite. They make a good, tasty meal, they are amazingly low in fats, oils and other unhealthy substances that would make me hesitate to eat them on a semi-regular basis, and the fact that they don't split or crack means that they are easy to use! Once again, I have no need to give any bad scores on this product, and I feel happy giving it a full thumbs-up on every aspect. Enjoy!

After experimenting with a sweet dish using the snack wraps I was keen to experiment again but all I had left was the Well-Ness High Fibre wraps and I decided to make a desert pizza. So I spread on nutella and sprinkled on raisins and sliced up fresh peaches, and before long it was baked and looking prefect and again I love how these wraps are so versatile and can be used in both savoury and sweet dishes!

Another dish I made was burrito's, but with a slightly different recipe than stated in the Farrah recipe book, instead I used beef strips and didn't use avocado or the coriander...I used parsley instead. Another easy and quick dish to be made and the taste is great, the way the wraps or in this case the burrito doesn't crack or rip and holds up the pressure of eating!

I made croutons and used them on top of a soup and I really enjoyed the extra texture it give the soup, but unlike bread croutons that are thick and soon go soggy once the bread absorbs the soup the thin sticks of the wrap added an extra crunch and stayed crunchy even when added to the soup.

As another quick option I made a cheese and bacon parcel using the high fibre wrap and toasted it in my sandwich press which is more or less a toasted sandwich but what a difference the wrap makes instead of using bread. The wrap went really crispy and crunchy on the outside and the cheese melted perfectly on the inside and kept the wrap stuck together and I will be making these again and be experimenting with different fillings.

These were the first of the smaller wraps I tried and although they may be different in size they are certainly just as big in taste as the other wraps! To be honest I couldn't taste the difference with these wraps being "High Fibre" so all the more better for it in my opinion - great health benefits without any down fall in taste.

I used these wraps as a lunch option at work - a quick meal heated in the microwave with ham and cheese so it was all warm - great on a winters day and would have been a great choice for children too. The only difference I did notice with these wraps is the texture seemed a little different when pulling the wraps from the packet - they seemed to stick together a little more than the other varieties, but then maybe that was just the packet I had.

I also tried these out with the recipe in the Farrah Cookbook for Bakewell Tarts which equalled total yumminess!!! I was so utterly surprised that I could use a wrap - something I've always seen as a savoury dinner option (with leftovers for lunch of course) - to make something sweet! Baking with wraps - its definitely something new for me - and something I will be trying again in the future!

All of the family as well as my work mates tried out the Bakewell Tarts and all had positive feedback as far as the taste of the tarts/use of wraps went! The recipe called for circles of the wrap to be cut out (I did this with a sharp knife using a cup as a guide as I didn't have the right sized cookie cutter) - I had no problems at all cutting the wrap and it didn't cause any tearing around the shape etc. I then had to get these to fit into the right size by cutting the edge before pushing them into a muffin tin - again there was no tearing, ripping, cracking or anything of the such! Impressive in a big way!!

At first glance these wraps appeared to be no different to Farrahs other white wraps, however while reading the packet I discovered they were lower in salt - and slightly smaller.

We travelled away for the holidays to a remote location so on the way picked up a rotisserie chicken, coleslaw and brie. The wraps stuffed with these ingredients were really really nice - we warmed slightly in the microwave and they held together beautifully.

My daughter enjoyed them and I have issues getting fibre into her so these were brilliant. In fact after having hers for dinner she also ate one plain and said she wants them plain in her lunch from now on.

I would most definitely buy them again - I do like the bigger size of the others however it seems a GREAT way to get a little extra fibre into her diet - and it was easily done. I will also be recommending them to other parents from school who have issues with children and fibre.

These wraps tasted just like any other white wrap. This is actually a good thing as they are high fibre and there is no difference in flavour between the two. They are slightly smaller than the full size 10" which is good for me and my lunch box.

I used all of these up with leftovers in them for lunch at work. They microwaved very well and held their shape with out cracking. Actually, I didn't use all of them, Miss took a couple and didn't notice a difference in the taste between high fiber and the premium white and was surprised when I told her. I asked her about if they survived OK in her lunch box and she said all except for once when she folded them very hard.

I would buy these again and would choose them over the other white wraps. The reason for this would be the slightly smaller size and the health benefits of the chia seeds and the "low in salt" factor.

We were running late for dinner after swimming lessons so knowing I had a pantry full of wraps I decided to have a quick and easy meal of quesadillas. Whilst my cast iron frying pan heated up I quickly sliced up some salami, tomato's, capsicums and grated some cheese. I love quesadillas having used them as a hiking staple when hiking in America so it was great to have a good quality wrap to make these with.

I like to make my quesadillas folded over in half so I lay the wrap in the pan put my filling on half them fold over and flip. I used the Wellness High Fibre White for the kids and hubby and I had another type. Whilst I was making these Little Miss two was doing her best to shred one. I am happy to say that she failed miserably. These wraps just held together so well and she was unable to litter my floor with it!

These wraps were the perfect size for Quesadillas and the family were eating them as fast as I could make them. The wraps held together really well when cooking and turning and were just the perfect texture for eating. I really liked the taste and was pleasantly surprised when I looked at the ingredients to see all the extra goodness in them. These wraps have 364mg of Omega 3 per 100g and per serving (which is one wrap) they have 50% of the RDI of vitamin B1 and 25% RDI of Vitamin B2, Niacin and Vitamin B6. So not only do they taste nice they have some extra goodness also.

I would definitely buy these again and even though they are slightly smaller than the others they were perfect for our dinner tonight. I would definitely recommend these.

These are great, for a white wrap. Despite the extra fiber, I am a little fussy and have a definite preference for any bread-style products to have the whole grain in them unless they have a specialty flavour as their 'point of difference'. So, plain white wraps aren't my top choice.

Still, these were pretty good, I will admit. A wonderful soft texture, easy to bite into yet tough enough to withstand the pressure of a hefty filling - I did a crumbed fish and salad wrap to start with, using some hoki fillets crumbed with a garlic and herb crust, served on a bed of Iceberg and Coss lettuce, some baby spinach leaves, shredded carrot and capsicum, and - as a little something different - a generous sprinkle of mung bean sprouts and miniature broccoli florets. A grind or three of fresh black peppercorns and a pinch of rock salt over the top, then topped with a drizzle of home made dijonaisse. Perfection!

I also wanted to try these in a popadom style, but I made the same mistake I do with many fried crispies - I let myself get sidetracked, and burnt the lot. Sad Icon Wasted a perfectly good wrap, then I gave up on the idea. Me and deep-frying... not a good combo at all.

Overall, these impressed me, but won't convert me. There are just too many other amazing flavours in the Farrah range that interest me more than these did. Still, for those who have trouble getting anything "healthy" into their kids, these could be a great sneaky solution to getting fiber into their diet!

I'm really not a particular fan of bread that isn't white, but we only buy white when it is yesterdays' bake (so half price) at the supermarket, so to get to try this, a white, high in fibre wrap, was exciting.

I was just after a quick and easy meal without too much fuss or clean up so I decided to use these in my dinner. I cooked up some rice which I put in the middle of the wrap, with a little bit of soy sauce. Then I made some vegetarian 'beef' with a teriyaki marinade, put that on top of the rice, a bit of mayonnaise and bbq sauce. I decided to eat it fresh and it tasted great.

The next day we had enough leftovers for a second lot for lunch. I popped everything but the sauces on the wrap and popped it in the microwave for a couple of minutes. I was worried about this as I was concerned that the extra moisture might cause the wrap to break. Got it out, popped on the sauce, wrapped it up and it didn't fall apart at all, was so pleased.

All in all this is a great wrap, anything that gets some extra fibre into picky old me is a good thing. I would get this again, though more as a treat than a regular thing.

The high fibre white wraps were the first ones I tried in the Farrah Wraps range. I wasn't too sure what to expect, but I have eaten a lot of wraps in my time and I was sure they would be similar to other wraps on the market. I was pleasantly surprised by the differences though. The first thing I did with these wraps was make up some wrap baskets for a dinner. Following a recipe in the Farrah Wraps Recipe Bok that was supplied, I made a honey soy chicken noodle stir-fry and then I added the stir-fry into the wrap baskets.

I served this to my 6 year old who was so excited. She usually eats all of her stir-fry except for vegetables and some of the meat. This time I knew for sure she got a decent dinner. She ate her usual amount of stir-fry and then started to tear little bits of the basket off to eat. I said to her if she wanted she could remove her dinner from it and eat the bowl. She jumped at the chance to do that and quickly ate her whole bowl. I loved the cute presentation and enjoyed the taste of the wrap after the main meal. My baby is 13 months old and is doing baby led weaning. She liked the pieces of wrap and she ate a good portion of her bowl as well as her noodles.

The next day, I took my stir-fry leftovers to work with the rest of the wraps. I re-heated the chicken noodle mixture and then sat with the wraps in the lunchroom. I was feeling a bit like a wrap torturer. I took the wrap and rolled it up as tightly as I could. I did everything I could to try and make it split or crack as I rolled it. I was really surprised that it stayed whole and was totally solid. This is even after being in an opened packet overnight. They just seem to stay fresh.

The stir-fry in the soft wrap was just as good the next day as it was in the wrap bowl. I think the High Fibre White Wrap is definitely one I could see myself purchase again. Its got the goodness factor and the taste was acceptable to both children.

The Wellness High Fibre White Wraps from Farrah would be ideal for sneaking fibre into the fussy eater that will only eat white bread. Thankfully that isn't a problem in out house and white bread is looked upon as a treat. My family (my husband, Miss 3, Miss 4.5 and of course me) didn't notice any difference in taste or texture between this wrap and the premium white although the wrap was high fibre one was smaller in size.

The high fibre white wrap has a very mild taste which makes it a very versatile product. I used it in two very different recipes. One sweet and one savory. For the sweet one I make dessert pizzas. I baked the wraps for 10 minutes in the oven then covered them in cream cheese. Then I allowed the kids to put their own topping on. These included cinnamon sugar, mandarin, bananas, marshmellows, peaches and pineapple. Surprisingly the moist toppings didn't make the base soft. It remained crisp which allowed for the kids to eat their pizza without difficulty. This was a huge hit.

The savory recipe was a favourite from my childhood although I usually use pastry and that was cheese and marmite scrolls. These were made with the children and were popular warm and in the lunchboxes for the next couple of days.

It was great to know that while I was feeding my kids the scrolls and dessert pizza that they thought were so delicious that they were getting plenty of fibre too.

I love these wraps, when I buy bread for the kids if I get white I get the high fibre white bread so it is great that they same thing is available in a wrap. My kids prefer white bread and therefore prefer the white wraps so these were a hit with the kids. They almost have as much dietary fibre as the wholemeals wraps which is great as it is good knowing that you are giving the kids something that is good for them and is providing them with some of the fibre their bodies need.

My daughter is the most finicky eater and doesn't eat a lot of fruit and vegetable at all so finding cereals and breads with a good fibre content is important so I jumped on these. When I made her school lunches I used these wraps and she didn't know they were any different to any other white wrap as they don't taste any different at all. She had wraps with ham and cheese and she said they stayed fresh in her lunch box and didn't go soggy from the ham which she really liked as she is so fussy about things like that.

The other thing she liked is that it didn't come un rolled or fall apart as she was eating it, which I have said in one of the other reviews but I am so amazed that these wraps truly do what they say and don't crack or split!! For kids like my daughter this is really important as she gets really annoyed at things like that and it will just put her off. I have already bought more of these for my daughters school lunches because she liked them so much I decided to keep buying them so I am sold on these wraps and will probably buy them every week from now on. They are also great for making the bowls and the right size for it soo I have been making bowls out of these one for my son's dinners.
