When it comes to buying wraps you really can't go past Farrah's wraps for quality or flavour, once you've tried them there's no going back! I was excited to see that Farrah's has recently released 2 new varieties of wraps garlic butter and sprouted grain, so when I saw these come available for review, I was really hoping that I'd be lucky enough to get some for review, and sure enough I was given a packet of each, which I couldn't wait to try.

My partner and I decided to try out the sprouted grain wraps tonight and we thought the best way to test them out was by using them to make classic wraps, we spread the wraps with some Barkers Spiced NZ Apricot with Mango sauce and drizzled over some mayonaise, we then dressed them with a generous helping on lettuce, tomato, beetroot and cheese and last but not least some crispy crumbed chicken tenderloins. As with all Farrah's wraps these did not rip or tear when folded, to me this is a big thing as there is nothing worse than having a wrap which is falling apart at the seams when you are trying to fold it, let alone eat it. With Miss 3 being a bit fussy when it comes to foods such as wraps I decided to make her wrap into a quesadilla style food, stuffed with grated cheese and pepperoni and topped with a lashing of Apricot and Mango sauce which was then toasted in the sandwich press until the cheese had melted, having a couple of wraps left over I decided to cut these into triangular strips and spread with garlic butter, these were then placed in the oven to crisp up to make some yummy, healthy crackers.

These wraps were not at all dry as I was worried they might have been due to the amount of grains they contained, instead they were lovely and soft like all the other Farrah's wraps had been, so they certainly lived up to the standard. The generous additions of grains is great as it means you are eating a lot healthier than you would be with say a white wrap, however flavour-wise I couldn't actually tell any difference between the sprouted grains and white varieties.

Our whole household enjoyed these wraps and we've all agreed that they are something we would buy again as they are a healthier wrap that tastes great. The price is steeper than your average wrap but it is well worth paying the difference you wont be left disappointed.

I have loved Farrahs wraps from the first try of them and have since only bought farrahs wraps. Wraps are something I buy regularly at least once a week and I love that with Farrahs wraps they stay very fresh and the ziploc packaging is great when you are only using a couple at a time. In terms of softness Farrahs wraps are the best and you have no need to microwave to soften the wrap before using.

I did think that perhaps adding grain would dry the wrap out a bit but in this case it didn't and they were just as soft as the plain wrap variety. They are great for making wraps for lunchboxes as like the packet says they do not split or crack. I am yet to find another product that can live up to that so Farrahs wraps never disappoint.

We normally buy the plain wraps for the children and my favourite the spinach wraps so it was nice to try a different variety which we all enjoyed. The taste was not much different from the plain wrap and the grains did not add too much texture so it was much the same as eating a plain wrap which was great as the children were eating a healthier wrap with nothing to complain about in the taste department. We will definitely be purchasing these again.

Definitely a great addition to the Farrah's family of wraps and I will be buying these for myself from now on as I like the slightly smaller size I found them perfect for making myself a lunch wrap and loved the fact that they were slightly healthier than your average wrap which is great for me trying to be health conscious.

I literally jumped for joy when I spotted these in my review package. We love farrah's wraps in our house but with a fussy three year old I don't like to stray out of our "normal" wrap flavours (think plain white wraps) in case the three year old doesn't like them and I find I have wasted money. So I was stoked to get to try these sprouted grain ones.

I love the fact that Farrah's wraps say they "wont crack or split when rolled" on the packaging. I did think this was a very bold statement to say but I love brands that stand by what they say they will do. I used these to make chicken and bacon wraps for dinner. I got the wraps out of the packet and they were soft and flimsy - which in my books is perfect. I added my fillings and folded the two sides in and rolled them up. They rolled up easily, with no cracks and they were a really decent size. My three year old looked at them funny when she realised there were "black spots" on them.

I honestly didn't notice a difference in the taste from the plain ones we eat and I thought maybe the sprouted grains might get stuck in my teeth but I was pleasantly surprised when they didn't. I had a couple of wraps left which I used the next day. I cut them up into nacho chip size (triangles) popped them into a snap lock bag, put in a small drizzle of oil and a pinch of salt and mixed them up. I then poured them out onto an oven tray and cooked them in the oven for a few minutes. Perfect home made nachos for a yummy snack :)

I have always loved Farrah's Wraps so I was delighted to see they have now put out a Sprouted Grains variety. We usually have a multi grain bread at our house so it makes sense to have a wrap that is a healthier version too. No one complained about the grains and I felt the wraps crisped up more when cooked.

I chose to use them to make pinwheel lollipops for my children for lunch one day. I had found the recipe on the Farrah's website and the kids loved the look of it. I don't think I would have had as good a result with another brand of wrap. Farrah's wraps claim they won't split when rolled and I have always found it true. I have yet to find another wrap that I can trust like that. The wraps were a hit with both my daughters (6 and 7.5 tears old) and myself. They both requested they have some cold in their lunch box the next day. My youngest usually only takes a bite out of her sandwiches but the lollipops were all gone by the time she came home. I will be making these again to eat both hot and cold. They would be great for a party too.

My husband used the last couple of wraps to make pizzas. He also used some Farrah's garden spinach wraps. His first comment was the size difference in the wraps. The sprouted grain wraps are smaller, something I hadn't noticed before. Farrah's doesn't try to hide this as the packet is also smaller. It is also worth noting that although they vary in diameter the spinach wrap is only slightly heavier (according to the packaging) at 61g compared to the sprouted grains 59g.

My overall verdict is that this is now my favourite wrap purely for it's healthiness. The other varieties of Farrah's wraps are great but it can always add the flavourings to my sprouted grain wrap and not sacrifice the nutrition.

There are so many ways to use these wraps so we had to try different things than just the normal wrap idea. Loved having the hidden grains in there, they were even loved by our 4 year old which at times can be no easy feat. The first thing we tried was the traditional wrap. A bit of sauce, some chicken and then stuffed with salad and folded into a wrap. After zapping the wrap for 10 seconds, it folded like a dream and didn't crack and make the filling fall out! The wraps were tasty, didn't have any extra flavour as such but having the grains made us feel healthier eating them.

Next up on the list to try was roll ups. A bit of sauce (BBQ for this review), ham spread out and cheese sprinkled on top, rolled up and microwaved quickly for 30 seconds for the cheese to melt. Well we all wanted to try more! These wraps are definitely going on our shopping list again, and will be trying different flavours also (we have already tried the white ones and love them).

We had a couple left over so we made pizza with one and cooked for 10 minutes at 180 in the oven and came out crispy and delicious, and the other we covered in garlic butter and baked to make garlic crisps! These wraps offer so much more than just wraps, so really does work with the tagline 'no rules'. Can't wait to try more variants.

I love Farrah wraps and whilst I once used to buy the cheapest wraps I could find, I really can't bring myself to do that now I know how great the Farrah ones are. When I saw that there was this sprouted grain flavour available, I was keen to try it as we eat multigrain bread in our house and I felt these would be a similar to that - therefore something that Miss 7 wouldn't baulk at eating, unlike the green or red coloured wraps in their range!

I decided to serve up these as a kind of enchilada with some leftover nacho mix in them and a can of tomatoes plus cheese on top and then baked. They were delicious and using only 4 wraps I was able to make it last for 2 nights (just needing to pad it out with some extra food on the second night). I love that they definitely don't split or crack when rolled (and when using them just as wraps, I don't ever bother warming them first). A great economical meal.

These didn't seem to taste any different than a plain wrap to be honest, but it's nice to know it's a bit healthier than a white wrap - I was surprised to see they even have quinoa in them - although admittedly not much! But the 13% sprouted grain flour is worth mentioning a bit more.

I really didn't notice any different in taste or texture to the multigrain ones that I often buy, and didn't have a multigrain package to compare, but I have noticed that some Farrah wraps are smaller in size than others, so it's something I now check when I pick these up at the supermarket. I'd buy these instead of multigrain once I've confirmed there is no size difference.

With my remaining 2 wraps, I cut them into 8th's and baked them for a few minutes (brushed with olive oil and sprinkled with salt) to make some lovely crisp crackers - these were delicious with dip and Miss 7 enjoyed them in her school lunch box too - a great way to add variety to plain old crackers and probably better for you than many crackers. I'd definitely buy these again, but like I say I'm sold on Farrah wraps anyway!
