With winter comes the odd sniffles and coughs they are inevitable and I like to make it as bearable as possible for my 18 month old. I use this on his chest before he goes to bed to help keep his nose clear through the night. I also rub a small amount on his feet and find that seems to work well too. Using it helps us to get a better nights sleep as it seems to help him breathe easier and therefore sleep better.
The formula is quite greasy so you only need to rub a small amount on to the chest at a time as it goes along way. The 50gram tub will last you a long time as you only need to use it sparingly. Unlike other vicks products this one only has a mild smell so it is not as strong as the adult chest rub. I actually prefer the smell of this one as it is not overpowering but still has the same round about effect.
When my partner pulled a muscle in his neck we had no deep heat but I used this to rub into his neck and it actually helped ease the muscle pain. The good thing was I didn't get that horrible deep heat smell all over my hands while making his neck feel better.
