One of my favorite go to snacks for the younger kids. They love the flavor and it has no added salt, sugar or preservatives. Of course I had to taste it myself to see what they adored so much and to my surprise I found it to be rather bland. Now that I have gotten the only flaw out of the way I can truly say this is a fantastic product that I buy most of my grocery shops. It also has a high source of protein and is well worth its price. As a parent it is always satisfying to see your children's meal completely finished and not all over the ground. The fact that it has hidden vegetables mixed within the sauce and isn't detectable is such an achievement I have always wanted to accomplish but haven't had complete success as of yet.

The portion size is excellent for younger children which is who the product is designed for. The consistency is rather smooth and is easy to manage for kids which is another positive as they can eat it very easily without the risk of struggling or choking. Being organic and locally made is also something I look for when purchasing food.

This is a great product and I will continue to purchase it for as long as my kids continue to want it.

After trying the Pitango Macaroni and Cheese and seeing how much my daughter loved it, I was really excited to try out the Pitango Kids Organic Spaghetti Bolognese on her, mostly because it has hidden vegetables in it, as much as I try hiding veges in Miss 1's dinner myself it's not always a success so I thought maybe the professionals may have more luck than me... it was worth a try anyway!

As well as having hidden veges through the tomato based sauce I loved several other things about this product, such as the fact it is organic, provides a serving of beef (great for iron), it is made from local (and imported ingredients), and has no added salt, sugar, or preservatives, it is also a good source of protein! Let's face it you can't get more goodness in a meal than all of the above so it had me willing to purchase it.

After having tasted it myself I have to admit it was pleasant tasting, though probably not as flavorsome as I would like for myself though it was probably the perfect taste wise for a young child. The vegetables were really well hidden and Miss 1 took to it straight away and loved that she had her meat and pasta. it was encouraging as a parent to actually be able to see the meat and the noodles in the meal as many baby foods you have to wonder if you are really eating what it says you are.

With it meant to serve 2 meals it is definitely a great buy, Miss 1 however did polish it off by herself in 1 serve but I would still happily pay the $3.49 for 1 meal as knowing she's getting her meat and 5+ a day makes me a very happy Mum!

This is a real great quality kids meal for younger children when you don't have the time to cook them a nutritious meal yourself. I would even eat it myself although it is a lot more bland than a spaghetti bolognese I would cook for myself as it has no added salt or anything in it. Other than that the taste is the same as any other home made spaghetti bolognese.

I like this for my son as it has real organic ingredients in it. You can see the real mince meat in it as opposed to some baby foods I have tried that you can't really tell what the meat is!! The other bonus about this is it has a lot of vegetables in it but as they have been pureed into the tomato based sauce the kids can not actually see any vegetables. I had to check the ingredient list to see what vegetables were actually in there as I couldn't tell.

This is a great sized serving for $3.50, it says it serves two but my son can pretty much finish one by himself as he has a big appetite. On special you can get them for around $3 which makes it even better and I will buy a couple then to put in the fridge for a busy day.
