Celestial wines are so yummy. They seem keen to use just about any fruit going, which is the sort of adventure I like to take. The boysenberry wine produced by these guys is delicious. I'm not a big fan of boysenberry really, but I appreciate it when the flavour of a fruit is captured so well.
When you first taste this pretty red wine, you instantly taste boysenberry, with a second familiar flavour of warming wine. That berry flavour is sweet, with a little tart-ness as well. Overall a really nice wine. I enjoy sharing this with friends as something a bit different. Not an everyday tipple, but a great treat.
Keeping in mind that I am not a great fan of berries in general, it was surprising how nice this wine was.
Smooth, rich flavour... a full bouquet to please the nose, and a warm, fruity acid aftertaste to leave the mouth tangy and crisp.
Not really one of my personal -hit pick- wines because of my anti-berry leanings, but for those who appreciate a nice berry wine, or want to try something a little different than just grape-based varieties, this could be a real winner for you.
Overall, a very pleasant wine in the right setting. Would probably go well with game meats such as venison or a well-cooked mutton.

Fine combination of Sweet Mango juice and diced Peach flesh gives fantastic feelings.
