This wine has a good strong Apricot flavour without overpowering the tastebuds, and has a smooth silky texture with a pleasant mild after taste. While I do enjoy apricots and apricot-flavoured food, it's not one of my favourite fruit, yet I would still happily relax with a glass of Celestial Wines' Apricot wine on it's own, or with a subtle flavoured meal (pasta, fish, and chicken would all probably go quite nicely with this wine). It's definitely an enjoyable companion to a light supper of cheese and crackers though!
If you love all things apricot this is for you, with a spicy, sweet bouquet with warm pepper overtones. This wine falls nicely on the palate complimenting any venison, beef or lamb dish mixing this sweet fruity taste with the strong sensations of these meats.
This wine has a sharp but still smooth texture, and has a very warm aroma that warms from the peppery flavour, making this an ideal match for any winter pudding.
The price in my opinion is justified as it illustrates the romance of any fine dining experience.
I am not usually a fan of the fruit, however the wine had a lovely medium smell, not too overly strong, but you can still tell it is Apricot.
Smooth texture, taste of mild apricots, not too powerful. No real aftertaste.
I quite liked this wine, considering as I said above, I am not a fan of the fruit.
This wine has a nice strong flavour that is accentuated with any kind of fish or quiche dish. There is a distinct after taste and slightly acidic. The flavour is very fruity, nice and strong without being too overpowering.
This wine is a nice introduction for those who aren't a fan of the actual fruit.
And it also goes down well with Mr Cheese Mild on Salada crackers :)
