Product reviews...
I am a huge coffee fan and would love to be able to get a cafe style coffee more often than I do but on a strict budget a cafe coffee is a bit of a luxury for me so I do love these cafe style sachets. Out of the three flavours I received to review I think the cappucino was my favourite as it had the strongest coffee hit. I do like the bitter taste of coffee so this appealed to me even though in the past the more sweet toothed me would of preferred the more sweet varities.
I found the cappucino had a great coffee flavour and I love the way these sachets stir up to create a creamy drink with a layer on top not unlike freshly frothed milk. They are probably as close to a cafe made coffee as you can get and I love how you can make them using only hot water with absolutely no fuss. The sachets are easy to open so it really is a two step process heat some water and stir in the sachet voila cafe style cappucino done!!
I am glad they are gluten free as sticking to a gluten free diet it is always a relief when you find treat items that you can include in your diet. These for me would be a treat because I have to say the regular price is higher than I would be able to afford on a regular shop but I would definitely look out for specials and buy them then.
Caffeine is one of the major food groups. Every gamer and computer jockey knows that. Any way I can get more of that go go juice into my body is a good plan so coffee is one of the drinks I drink. And I drink it a lot. Most instant coffee is rubbish but there are times I can't spare the time to brew up a decent cuppa in the plunger so these looked like they were worth a try.
When the box arrived I was impressed. Easy to open packaging and the sachets are sealed up really well but still easy to tear open without tearing the whole packet apart and spilling the contents. When I poured the sachet into the mug of hot water I was expecting something less milky. I normally have my coffee a lot milkier than this. It tasted pretty good. Not quite what I normally enjoy because it wasn't as milky as my usual coffees but it was still pretty good.
I made another cup with half water and half milk and that was much more to my liking. I didn't even have to add any extra sugar. I really liked these and I want to try some of the other flavours in the range I think. I see them at the supermarket for less than $7 most weeks, sometimes as low as $4.50 a box which is a much more affordable drink.
