When I seen this, I was really excited to try it. In the past year I have been drinking more and more green tea, along with flavoured fruit teas. I was pleased to see that this was a combo of both of the above! Lime is so lovely in the summer as it is refreshing and easy to drink in warm weather.

When I received this, the packaging was of very high quality and it has a resealable top and a thick pouch that keeps the tea fresh. The snazzy colours are really eye catching and this would stand out on any shelf in a shop.

The instructions are straight forward and the only requirement is that you have to have a tea strainer as it is loose leaf tea. When you open the packet the smell is just divine. Very zingy and limey. The tea itself is made up on high quality ingredients, which you can tell from looking at it. It is important to follow the instructions and use water that is under boiling temperature. It may pay to google this before you may it, to get the most from your green tea experience.

The tea itself, once made is lovely. It is delicious warm, and even when cooled it is refreshing. I make this in a pot, so it often takes me some time to get through the whole pot. At first glance it appears pricey, but when you compare it to other tea's in the same league and how many cups it makes, it is relatively well priced and certainly something I would purchase again, or add to a hamper over Christmas time.

I am a regular drinker of green tea, in fact that's all I drink, I used to solely drink flavoured green tea but after drinking all types of flavours from citrus, berry to ginger I decided that I would give the plain green tea a chance and I really haven't looked back. I now only drink flavoured green tea at night or early morning. So I was keen to try this Japanese Lime tea and see if it could be a favourite of mine.

I only drink tea by the bag, so I went on the hunt for a tea infuser and I was lucky to come across a thermal cup with a built in tea infuser that my daughter had just purchased. I read the instructions and I couldn't quite believe that 1/2 teaspoon would do the trick so I (mistakenly) added more. The tea leaves were actual leaves, not powdered and the lime skins were visible in the mix as well, which was very impressive. I duly brewed the tea and tried the tea, only to find that I should of added only 1/2 teaspoon as it was VERY strong. I decided to start again and follow the actual instructions, and I can honestly say the taste was far more pleasant. The lime taste was quite prominent with a stronger green tea taste than I was used too, but it was still enjoyable.

I see the price is $11.50, which initially turned me off, but if you follow the brewing instructions then this tea will go far, making it quite cost effective. I would recommend this tea to all flavoured green tea drinkers, however I would be very interested to see if Tea Total makes plain green tea as I would love to try this in the future if it was available.

I enjoy sitting down to a nice herbal tea in the evenings. It is a good chance to unwind at the end of a day! I have previously had green tea, however it isn't one that I have stocked in my pantry before. I was totally open to the idea of trying Tea Total's Green Tea Japanese Lime tea. I particularly liked the idea of the lime flavour.

When I opened the bag, I was greeted with a very pleasant smell of lime. I could see that there were real ingredients in the mix. It wasn't all powdery like some teas can be. I knew that I would need a tea infuser or tea pot to make the tea. I was lucky enough that my husband made the first cup of tea for me, so I didn't have to even find the tea infuser! Now that is has been found, it will be easy to make the tea each night. We also tried to make a cup of tea with a tea sieve as well. The infuser worked much better.

The ingredients in this tea are fully recognisable and can easily be seen when you open the packet. There is a lovely diamond shaped window at the back of the packet, which allows you to look at what is inside before purchasing. The price of $11.50 would have put me off buying this product as it seems a lot for tea. Being able to see the quality of the ingredients is very helpful. The fact that you only need to use half a teaspoon per cup, means that the 100g bag of tea will last for a long time. The packet has a zip lock seal on it, which is a great thing as it keeps all of the ingredients dry and fresh. Now that I know the tea, I think that $11.50 is quite reasonable.

We found that it was a very refreshing and flavoursome drink. Many teas don't taste so nice when they are cold. This tea, however tasted great from hot right down to nearly cold (it often takes me that long to get through a drink with all of the distractions in the evening with children).

I would certainly consider purchasing this tea again. It will be a little while before I need to even think about that though as the bag hardly has a dent in it after a week of evening tea drinks.
