Gremlins 2 is far more comedy than horror and still just as much worth to watch as the first Gremlins movie.
This time around Mogwai ends up in a scientists lab after his owner dies and he runs away terrified by the building being torn down. Naturally Billy and Kate are working in the same building and find out about Mogwai, but not in time for things to go disastrously wrong and the Gremlins are unleashed again, this time terrorizing the tall sky scraper building and all who are working in it. With some good actors like Robert Picardo and Christopher Lee also joining in the fun, Gremlins 2 is a lot of fun.
There are also many many inside jokes about Hollywood and such that you have to watch it several times to pick up on all of them, not to mention all the references to other movies and characters like a Daffy Duck type gremlin and a gremlin wearing a witches hat crying "I'm melting" (there's plenty of little gems like that, so keep an eye out for them). What is also great about the film is that at one point there seems to be something wrong with the movie, but it is just another layer to this movie and really adds to it well.
Gremlins 2 is one of the funniest films that you will see and if you saw the first then you simply need to see this one.

Stuntman Mike (Kurt Russell) is a professional body double who likes to take unsuspecting women for deadly drives in his free time. He has doctored his car for maximum impact; when Mike purposely causes wrecks, the bodies pile up while he walks away with barely a scratch. The insane Mike may be in over his head, though, when he targets a tough group of female friends, including real-life stuntwoman Zoe Bell (who served as Uma Thurman's double in "Kill Bill"), who plays herself.
