Join a brilliant young inventor named Lewis as he sets off on a time-travelling journey to find the family he never knew. In the fantastical world of 2037, hip-hoppin' frogs and dogs that wear glasses are as common as talking dinosaurs. In an amazing twist, Lewis discovers that the fate of the future rests in his hands, but he can't save it alone, he'll need every bit of help he can get from the wonderfully wacky Robinson family, who help him learn to keep moving forward and never stop believing in himself.

I love this movie, it is one of the few that I will happily sit down with my children time and time again.
It's heart-warming, funny but also has a good message behind it
It has a great offering in the way of special features and they're all worth taking the time to look at.
I wish that I had seen it when it came out in the theatres, and should it ever come back then it would be the first thing I take my son to go and see.
Their characters are so well written, and I found there was just as much humour in the movie for me as there is for my son.
I'm glad to have found a movie that not only provides entertainment for my children but will teach them the "Keep Moving Forward" and just how harmful it can be to hold onto negativity for such a long time.
A 10 out of 10 from me, and top of my list when people ask what to buy for their kids.

DISNEY'S DONE IT AGAIN!
After seeing this at the movies, I was extremely keen to get my hands on the DVD, knowing it would be one my son and I would happily watch time and time again. With its biggest motto being "Keep Moving Forward", Meet the Robinsons is a fantastic movie for young and old, filled with the magic of family and the importance to just keep on trying. As Lewis set about trying to get a time machine back in good working order, while the "evil" Bowler Hat Guy does his best to steal Lewis' invention and make a name for himself with it, it's easy to get caught up in the values of the fun loving family of misfits, the Robinsons, who teach Lewis that families are what you make of them.
A few interesting Special Features added to this DVD make it even more enjoyable... especially with the Family Function 5000 Game where, with the help of Lewis' clues, you have to sort his new family tree into the proper places, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The music videos were a pleasant addition, and the "Inventions that shaped the world" and "Inventing the Robinsons" were both equally as fascinating, especially learning how the executive producer (and author of the book the movie is based on), William Joyce, bascially shaped the Robinson family around his own!!

This is one the kids AND parents will love, and should be added to every family collection!!
