Set three years after "Ocean's 11," this sequel shows us Danny Ocean gathering up his complete gang of con artists and thieves from the first film in New York City before they all jet off to Amsterdam, Rome, and Paris to pull off three seperate heists.
All the while, the boys must deal with increasing pressure from a very mad Terry Benedict wanting his money back with interest, a dedicated Europol agent with a link to Rusty's past, and a mysterious French rival known as the "Night Fox".
Will Ocean's crew reach their full potential and become the greatest thieves the world has ever known, or will they fall victim to Benedict's revenge? All bets are off.

Well, after seeing "Ocean's 11" and enjoying the sheer gall of the heist, I was expecting some seriously brilliant work from 'the guys' this time... after all, *3* big jobs? Choice!
Right from the start, I could tell there was something wrong. With a very low-budget 60's look and feel to the whole thing, the corny scene-shift titles, the crap colour quality, the downright shoddy sound... "Warning: Disaster in progress..." should have been flashing in the bottom right corner of the screen the whole time!
Saving Graces: Some good jokes scattered throughout, ONE stunning song (HINT: Dancing with light), and an explaination of the whole jumbled mess at the end. However, that was acoomplished by explaining it in a series of flash-frame snippets that left me feeling like I had been hit with a patterned strobelight! Good idea, but badly exectuted. Hopwever, it's a smooth lead-in to...
Dud Bits: Too many to name, but here are the Low-Lights... Julia Roberts acting the role of Tess Ocean, acting the role of Julia Roberts (It was overacted, badly ham'd up, and generally just B-A-D); cracks and breaks in the soundtrack, ruining any good 'groove', corny jokes and bad acting from some serious talent; the rest of the movie.
Overall, I am glad that a friend had been given some free tickets and invited me along, because even at serious-discount level I would have been asking for a refund or replacement tickets to another movie. This was confirmed for me by the huge crowd of about 15 people who turned out to pack the 100+ seat theatre. A total dud. I plan to locate the choice song, but that's about it.
