Product reviews...
I did not know Anathoth Beetroot Chutney even existed until after I joined KIWIreviews, I must have looked passed it each and every time I had been to the supermarket...and now after trying it for the first time I am hooked and as I sat there tasting it over and over again I started to imagine all the yum dishes I can use it on....I can't wait to make a home made meat burger with melted cheese and lashings of Anathoth Beetroot Chutney to top off the taste sensation!!
I love beetroot anyway and to find a new and exciting product (well new to me!) I couldn't get home fast enough to try it, and I am totally in love! It is perfectly matched with a simple piece of cheese on a cracker, and perfect little chucks of beetroot in a super nice sticky sauce! It is exactly like it states on the front of the pottle....Tastes just like home-made....but I would go as far to say it is nicer than any home-made chutney I have tasted before!!
I like the plastic container with a lid that is resealable and keeps the Anathoth Beetroot Chutney fresher while stored in the fridge....this is an item that I will always have in the fridge from now on, and I am super excited to use it at my next dinner party and get my friends and family hooked on this great product.
I like that fact that Anathoth Beetroot Chutney is gluten free and has no preservatives, no artificial colouring and no artificial flavouring, which is nice to know it is suitable for the whole family. It has a genuine beetroot flavour too, it actually tastes real and with seeing the chunks of beetroot you can rest assured it is not a fake artificial flavour. Another great New Zealand made product.
Go and put it on your shopping list now....you have to try Anathoth Beetroot Chutney, you won't regret the decision. It could be cheaper but with Anathoth Beetroot Chutney tasting so good I will be buying it regardless but I will be keeping an eye out when it is on special and stocking up!
I totally would not have tried this if a friend hadnt insisted i try it when she made some snacks recently. 'Beetroot chutney i dont think im going to like that' was running through my head but i was proved wrong, i totally did enjoy it and now have a pottle in my fridge at all times! Although slightly more expensive than other brands, ive been told its totally worth it as the other brands of the same dont taste very good at all (ive personally never tried as i decided why change something thats so good).
I will often use this matched on top of cream cheese and crackers (any sort is fine depending what you like ~ snax or rice crackers etc). When i have family or friends round and i prepare this snack or entree ive had a lot of responses like my first initial one but after one taste they are all asking what brand it is and where to get it from.
I love that it is a NZ product and there is quite the amazing story behind them which is on their website when you look online. Anathoth is now owned by the same owners as Barker's of Geraldine so you can definately trust their delicious products. No colourings, flavourings or preservatives... Just a traditional recipe of vegetables and sugar ~ just like grandma used to do!!!
I am totally hooked and recommended to others!! :)
