Hand-made to order, this set includes:
• A 3-stage adjustable cloth bib
• 1 pair of custom-sized baby boots
• 1 matching clip-it
The cloth bib is smart, stylish and good for the pocket in that it can be washed and reused for years. When paired with a set of matching, custom-sized boots your little one is going to be sitting pretty at meal times!
When you go out and about, take the clip-it so those tossed toys or pacifiers don't get left on the footpath as you walk off.
Hand-crafted for Kiwis all over the world, these sets can be made to your specifications, and shipped to anywhere you need them to go.
Product reviews...
I was lucky enough to be selected to receive a pack of items for my baby recently. The pack included a pair of slipper style shoes, a bib and a clip it. The first thing I noticed about the items was the materials used. The purple butterfly material was absolutely beautiful. I am a bit obsessed with paisley. This set has that pattern all the way through it. So even though it was a review item and was not specifically designed for me, I felt like it was perfect in that respect.
The bib and slippers are backed/lined with a minky microfleece style fabric. In the slippers I noticed that some of this fluffed where the fabric was cut. However, I never noticed any fluff on or around my baby's toes. Obviously I wanted to be sure the stitching was all 100% inside the shoes because of the possibility of toes getting trapped in threads. It was good to see the work hidden in there. The threads were good and the stitching looked really good quality. Knowing this has been made by a mum, tells me that she would take care and have safety in mind as well.
I loved the slippers, but they didn't stay on very well. I think I mostly knocked them off myself as I was picking her up. She easily kept them on while playing on the ground. They would be great for a photo shoot, or a special day. But I took her to school the other morning and got to the big girl's class missing a slipper. I was horrified thinking it was gone forever. Luckily it was in the car, but it would have been so sad to lose it.
The clip it got a lot of comments from other mums. Mostly "What is that?!" I liked it a lot. It attached securely. Baby couldn't remove it at all. It has so many adjustment options, so I could in theory clip all sorts of things to my baby! At one point I left it just attached to the bib and it was exciting enough on its own that baby played with it for quite some time before going back to playing with the bib instead. When I removed the clip it from the bib edge where I placed it, the teeth didn't mark the material.
The bib was pretty good as well. It had its work cut out for it, because my baby is a power chucker. The top layer was not very absorbent, but with the minky stuff on the back, none of the wet made it to the clothes underneath. It also looks nice compared to the array of beach towels I have been using to catch every spill. The last test I gave it was to wash it. The bib came out good as new and the colours didn't bleed or anything. I loved this set, and would recommend it to anyone looking for something special for a new baby/new mum.
I am so happy to have been given the opportunity to review these they are fantastic. Tootsy Shoes N More has definetly won a new customer in me and I have shared their facebook page with my friends.
The facebook page is amazing, so many incredible products on offer in great fabric choices. They obviously put a lot of effort in to sourcing good quality unique fabrics. I love some of the past orders that have been made especially the batman bib and shoes. A good range of baby products including the booties, bibs, clip it's and some taggy blankets and cot blankets, I even noticed some handmade clothing for bigger kids. To make it even better the prices are great too.
The set I received is absolutely gorgeous. The fabric is great quality and the print is adorable I absolutely love the dinosaurs. I would say a lot of time and care went in to making them as they are really well made and durable. I gave things a tug and checked for loose stitching and there was none and all the clips and poppers are on very tightly so they were not going to come off easily.
The bib is fantastic, I don't think you could buy as good a quality or as cute a bib from your general store. It has a really soft minky backing making it nice and soft and comfortable against babies skin, with no rubbing or irritation around the neck line. The size is adjustable so it will last a while as I can adjust it as my baby grows. Even better it keeps the moisture away from babies skin and clothing, my boy is very dribbly at the moment with teething and his clothing remained completely dry.
The booties are great. I love how they were custom made for my babies feet rather than a general sizing this way they fit him comfortable not too tight and uncomfortable but they were fitting enough that they didn't just slide off. They stood up to the test of his commando style crawling which is pretty amazing as his feet are the main component of pushing himself forward. As they were soft soled it allowed him to still get a good grip into the carpet with his toes to push himself forward. They are beautifully hand crafted with gorgeous minky lining and a fleece sole clearly a lot of care and time was taken with their construction.
Finally the clip it is such a cool product. I have never used a dummy clip before and now I'm wondering why I haven't used one sooner. It was great his dummy clipped on and travelled with him as he crawled so when he needed it, it was right there. Also great when we went out in the pushchair as he couldn't throw it over the side. It is really well made and stays clipped on nice and tight he gave it a really good pull but it stayed clipped on to his clothing.
Very, very happy with all three items and I would recommend them to all my friends. They would also make a great gift for a baby shower when you want to get something of high quality and unique.
Well, well, well.
My daughter is well over the bib and booties (or slippers) stage but these did us proud when she was in them. I was especially happy that i could just contact the supplier and get the next size up booties and know that the next pair would have the same high standard of craftsman ship as the first. My biggest issue was losing them and this is through no fault of the maker but sometimes that's the risk you take when getting things made from limited stock fabric.
I still have a few clip its floating around my house, they are still used for the dummy, little odds and sods and even have been known to be used for my keys at work, there is nothing worse than being expected not to lose one of a kind keys to a rather important building......
Just as a side note; i still have a blanket made by this supplier that has been spewed on, dragged through the dirt, washed and given shear hell and it is still the same as the day i got it, much like the bib would be if we still had that.
