Any extras you can get for the Nerf Range of products is always a good thing and this is no exception.
The Green Light "Night Vision" Tactical Rail addon is great and does give a very Night Visionish feel when used at night indoors or out. One thing that was discovered completely by coincidence is that when combined with the Red Laser targeter from the N-Strike Recon CS-6 on the CS-6 with the Green Light top mounted on the barrel and the Red Light in laser mode mounted underneath on the barrel it gives a good red targeting spot in the middle of your green night vision area of light and makes it a bit easier to aim and hit your opponent.
As has been noted by the other reviewer, the darts supplied do not work in all N-Strike launchers, but they do work nicely in the Nerf Dart Tag - Fury Fire launchers.
As has also been noted by the other reviewer we want more addons for the Nerf range as I could see some truely epic Nerf battles with some of the extras that are available overseas .
This is a great add-on to the Nerf range of N-Strike guns, though you may find the darts are only compatible with a limited range of guns. (For example, any gun that requires the 'streamline' range with the narrow tip will not be suitable, but those who use the larger rounded tips, such as the Vulcan and the Dart Tag sets will probably work OK.)
The light is easy to use, with the only requirement during 'combat' being to flick the switch on the back. Because of the position of this switch though, some mounting rails won't be smart to use, such as the under-barrel rail on the Recon CS-6.
Though this light does NOT in actual fact give you true "night vision" it gives you a cool sensation that maybe you are getting that ability... and with a pinch of imagination thrown in, it's good enough that my 9-yr old son was having a ball WAY past his bedtime!
Overall, not really a huge amount to say about this, but what I can, and will, say is this: There should be more Mission Kits! Spare ammo packs and magazines, more lights, scopes and lasers, extra 1- or 2-shot launchers, ammo holders... that kind of thing! One is simply not enough!
