Picking up a copy of this game was a spur of the moment, why not, and it was a cheap enough price. This game has been taken out with us many times, to be played whilst waiting for our lunch to be prepared and whilst it is a fun enough way to while away the time, if the kids didn't like it so much I probably would have moved it on by now. Crazy Golf has you play through 9 mini golf courses. Each course is made up of 3-4 cards, which you put together in the correct order (very easy to see which goes where) and they are double sided, so you can have an easy game and then a harder one. Because these are made up of cards, and they don't need a huge amount of space, you can set this up at any flat surface.
When you play, there will be at least two options to pick, ranging from easy, to medium, to hard. Before you roll your dice, you must state which route you are going and should you fail, you aren't allowed to swap to the easier route if you could have completed it. You get three rolls to meet the requirement of your route, if you meet them then you move to the next spot, if you fail it counts as a miss. Just like mini golf your aim is to get the ball to the hole in the least hits possible. The game is basic enough that you can teach it to anyone and the hole designs are fun. The little balls come as two cards you slot together, which ended up having to be glued to keep them together.
Whilst there are better games out there at this price, the kids enjoy it, so its almost a hole in one.

"Computer games don't affect kids. I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music."
