Air Buds have been making movies for a few years now, my daughter watched a few when she was younger and now her little brother is enjoying them too, even as a now 16 year old my girl will still sit there and watch the movies as hooked as she was as a child. The Air Bud movies all have talking dogs on some sort of adventure like this one about a singing competition or previous ones where the air buds played basketball, or became xmas helpers, a pretty cool theme for younger children but still enjoyable for a family movie.

The family thoroughly enjoyed this edition following the singing dogs in the singing talent competition. The dogs are as cute as always and the songs are catchy meaning my children bopped along with the movie. The dogs always throw in a bit of humour as their talking parts include some comical lines that are appropriate for the whole family. My 5 year old had a few giggles as he watched. As with the other movies the pups are so easy to like and have their own clear characters that are easy to connect to.

As adults we don't have the imagination of a 5 year old so appropriate for children who still believe in such things as unicorns and monsters and talking animals but still enjoyable for adults and older children who are happy to laugh at the idea of talking animals. A nice new angle for the air buds a bit different than any of the other films with the singing I think I did prefer some of the older movies as they had more of a storyline to follow and kept my attention more.
