I knew that my son would really like the book so when I got it to review, he was really excited and his response was to say cool.

The book was easy to read and I have started noticing that some parts of the story are really predictable, the robot is on a top secret mission, the kids are going to get grumpy at each other but they are close friends when the need arises, something is going to go wrong and even though the kids are in trouble they manage to save themselves and evil plans never work. I was not surprised to see all of those elements in this book.

I really think that any books that can get kids interested in reading is a great idea and books about space, robots and fighting are high on young boys interests and I would buy any further books in the series as this is encouraging my boys to love reading, I know that he is enjoying reading when he reads anything he can get his hands on and his teachers are constantly telling me that he is reading above his age.

I highly recommend the series to any parent of young boys, set a few hours aside and enjoy reading the book together.
