Product reviews...
When this set first came out we happened upon it whilst browsing through a The Warehouse catalogue and my son exclaimed that he would love to have this set, especially for the slide, hearing him ask for it a couple more times my husband and I added it to our Christmas layby.
When he opened it on Christmas day he was one very happy child and he couldn't wait to get building with his new set. There were parts of this that was very fiddly and he certainly needed my help with some parts, such as making a zip line where the string needed to be tied to the end and spun around, something my son would not yet have thought of. The instructions are well done, so that my son can follow it along and finds he just needs help when he skips a step.
My son loved this, especially when he found it came with five animals and two "barbies" as he calls the Friends LEGO characters (seriously, where are the boys done in this style?). My son kept this intact for a whole week (which is longer than any other set has survived) and still has bits of it together, so it was well worth it in the long run and something I know he will have creating and recreating time and time again.
