Living in a two storied house it is nearly impossible to wash the Kitchen, Lounge and Dining Rooms windows. Basically unless it rains the outside windows have never been touched until now. Buying this from one of the Deal Sites I was a little sceptical that the magnet would be strong enough to keep it connected from the inside and outside. But surprisingly it works.
So easy to use it recommends 10 cups or water and 1 tablespoon of detergent. Work up a nice lather and then attach the cord to your finger open the window and press both sides together and then wash in zig zag movement. You actually get to wash both sides at once. Although, does not get off all of the stubborn marks does an impressive job and my windows have never looked so clean. It washes and dries at the same time and only leaves a little bit of bubbles in selected areas which can easily be wiped away with an old newspaper. Also find a lot of water drips from the device to begin with so keep a towel handy.
The cord works fantastically as on the occasions the outside one has come apart at least I don't need to run downstairs and outside to find it each time instead like a bungy it bounces around a little and then I pull it up and reapply more water/detergent to the cleaners and continue on my plight. I am sure once the outside is perfectly clean it will not fall off so freely. Also I recommend not using in strong wind as I found out the hard way would keep falling off.
Really great if you want to have clean windows on the inside and the outside. Also if you want you can only clean one of the sides and that is so much easier then having the two parts together. Can be used on any window service like mirrors and does a great job besides the original puddle of water to begin with. Easy for the husband and kids to use as well.
