This is an extreme nourishing treatment, the ultimate in hand and nail care for those of us who like to spoil ourselves. This cream will soak deep into the skin to start its extreme healing.
These days we wash our hands ALOT and use alot of anti bacterial gels and products that strip the skin of important oils. To keep our hands looking youthful and in good shape we need to keep up a moisture routine. Not only does this hand cream look after your hands but it will give your nails some much needed looking after aswel.
I have combined the most relaxing and sensual essential oils to make a blend of ultimate indulgence. The most beautiful smell with a hint of exotic.
Ingredients: Organic Shea Butter, NZ Beeswax, Sweet Almond Oil, Golden Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E Oil, Ylang Ylang - Lavender - Patchouli and Vanilla Essential Oils
Product reviews...
This was the first product of Hayleys that I tried and I am just so amazed! I have worn acrylic nails for years and my nails seemed to have disintegrated from all the nasties involved with the process. Aside from that, I have a nasty habit of biting my nails and skin is super dry around the outside - which in turn becomes sore - especially over winter!
When I applied this the first time, the cream was quite gritty and hard, but it soon melted and became oily and easy to rub in. It's very nourishing and takes a bit of rubbing to be fully soaked in. I would recommend you apply before bed as it seemed to leave a slight residue that you wouldn't want to come into contact with clothing/door handles or other surfaces you don't want marked.
When I woke up in the morning I was simply blown away by the softness of my hands. The dry skin around my nails had come back to life and wasn't sore anymore, and my nails were gleaming!
Since this application I have applied the cream before bed another 3 times (so 4 nights in total) and the results are just fantastic. My hands are just like new! All the cracked, dead skin around my nails has disappeared and my nails seem healthier and almost like they are stronger, they are not peeling as much that's for sure!
I will be purchasing this product from Hayley in the very near future as it's just like magic. I love that it is natural and it smells divine - just like a beauty salon without anything nasty in it!
I don't often use hand creams as I get a bit of excema between my fingers from time to time so I find some hand creams sting and irritate my skin. I usually just rub a bit of aqueous cream into my hands when they are feeling a bit dry but not really much more than that. I do get dry hands from cleaning products and doing the dishes especially when I use harsh products.
When I received this the first thing I noticed was the smell it had that gorgeous shea butter scent with a hint of vanilla it smelt amazing. I grabbed a small amount out to try it on my skin. It had a gritty sort of texture at first but it all rubbed in and the tiny amount I had used spread out really well. It left my hands feeling a little bit greasy to start off with but after a while it absorbed more and they just felt soft.
I think because it was natural which I really love it didn't sting any of my cuts or excema which was an added bonus as I was able to add scredes of moisture into my hands. It also left my nails looking shiny and they had a gloss on them like I had a clear coat of nail polish on my hands. I felt really pampered and looked forward to doing it again later in the day the second time I used a bit more than the first time and my hands are starting to feel really soft.
I was given a small sample of Hayley Benseman's Divinity Hand Cream to review. My hands are starting to show the years of neglect so an extreme hand treatment was long overdue. My nails are in an even worse condition so something that will help them too is a real bonus.
When I first applied it I could see little grains. I'm not sure what they wee but they soon melted away with the warmth of my hands. My skin felt so pampered as I rubbed the cream into my hands. My nails had an oily sheen to them. My hands were left feeling greasy. This makes it more suitable to us when you will be sitting in front of the TV for a while. I assume this is the beeswax providing a waterproof protective coating.
The scent is a subtle vanilla fragrance and something that really appealed to me. I also like that this is an all natural product that doesn't have artificial fragrances, colouring or preservatives. A tiny amount of hand cream will go a long way and because this isn't a product you would use everyday a jar will last a very long time.
