Steelo Soapy Lemon product reviews

I have been on the lookout for a good kitchen scourer and tried a few products but then I came across this amazing product called steelo soap pads. My cooking is not the best so usually I have a lot of food stuck to the pots after use, Also I am not a fan of doing my dishes until the next day :( I was on the look out to find a product that suited my needs.

The price of these is very good around $4-5 dollars a box with a few in it and it is sold at most supermarkets and small convenience stores around New Zealand. I find these to be very effective and they did the job well without a lot of effort, not only were they great for using on my pots and cooking equipment I found them useful for cleaning inside of the oven. Each one seamed to last for quite some time but it did loose its effectiveness over time.

I would be happy to recommend this product to others and I think I will be going to give it a try on some other surfaces as recommended on the box especially the taps and stainless steel sinks in my laundry.

I have always found these perfect for cleaning my sinks, they seem to cut through all the grease and grime etc that can get stuck to the surface, and the steelo's don't scratch the surface even though they are basically a steel wool pad, but I don't apply a lot of pressure as I am scrubbing but I don't need to because they just seem to easily cut through the water marks and grime and leave the surfaces clean and sparkly!

I like how the soap is already in the steelo so all I have to do it apply water and I am away, and the soap stays in the steelo right throughout the clean, so I don't need to add anything extra in the cleaning product department.

One thing I don't like is how easily the steelo goes rusty....if left for a few days after the first time it is used, just about the whole steelo is rusty and can't really be used again, so I tend to throw the stello away after I have used it. I guess it can still be used if you don't mind cleaning whatever it is you want cleaned with a puddle of rusty water.

But because I think the price is reasonable I don't mind chucking it away after using it just the once. But I use it well though, I clean my kitchen sink, the laundry tub to wipe off all the water scale etc, I wipe down my shower and bath on a weekly basis with the steelo so one steelo is well used in my house....and even with all that cleaning it lasts and stands the cleaning test and saves heaps on cleaning product because of the built in soap.

These work perfect for scrubbing off anything that gets burnt on the bottom of pots, like the time your potatoes boil dry and stick to the bottom!! A quick soak in water and by using just the steelo the burnt potato is easily removed. Or use on the underside of the pot where it sits on the element to bring back that first brought shine to your pots and pans! With minimal effort you would totally think your pots were brand new and it does all this cleaning without leaving scratches! You can't ask for more really.
