Men need soap too. Men love cars. So... a man's soap, shaped like a car! Gets ya clean, you smell nice for the ladies... all's good in your world, mate!
Fully organic ingredients, including coconut oil, purified water, soy bean protein, titanium dioxide and some rather manly fragrance oils.
Proudly hand-crafted in New Zealand. Nice!
Product reviews...
My days of trying to woo some wahine are far in the past but it's always nice to smell good for when the whanau come to visit, as they do a lot these days thanks my new hobby of writing reviews for this website. It's never long after the first courier has been that someone is knocking on the door to visit their old Koro.
This was a very cute little soap, but as we all know it isn't about what it looks like, it is about how it smells, and any reactions caused by it. This soap smelled musky and smokey which took me back to my days up in the Kaimais hunting deer with the lads all too long ago.
The soap was nice to use once it had been worn down a bit. I know I said the shape doesn't matter but sometimes it can be awkward or uncomfortable to use. Once I had used this a bit, and chipped a few lumps off it, it was great to use and felt really smooth.
I doubt I would I buy this for myself to use on a daily basis, but if I was 30 years younger and dating again I would certainly be keen to give this a more determined test. As a gift though, this is something I might buy for a younger member of the whanau for 'date night outings' in town.
Looking for a gift for the man who has everything...well look no further! Mynx has gorgeous home made products that would make beautiful gifts and the car shaped soap would be the perfect gift for the men in your life.
This cute wee soap car is carefully wrapped in clear cellophane so you can see it nicely, with a curly white ribbon and simple ingredients/name tag attached. This tag is simple like the packaging. One side has the mynx logo and the name of the soap, the other has the ingredients list for the soap, printed on a white sticker stuck to the card tag. It may sound somewhat cheap but it is a lovely simple look that just works...especially for a blokes product. Its not all girly and over-whelming.
The soap itself is this cute and funky wee car. The smell is not over-powering and hubby really liked it. Where as I myself did not. But as its a guys soap then it is a bonus that the smell appealed to hubby and he was more than happy to use it. My boys were also happy to use it in their shower, but the only problem with that was, its a car, which means they had to play with it. And if that happens every time then I can not imagine it would last all to long.
The ingredients list seems really long for a little soap, but I do l like that the first lot of ingredients are organic, that always sounds good. The next lot of ingredients sounds a little um scientific, but if really concerned you can check online to see what they are, and in doing so you will find that they are not that bad after all. For example sorbitan oleate (one of the ingredients) is just a fatty acid, found naturally in some fruit and berries and used in products such as cosmetics and toothpaste.
I am very impressed with the detail in this little car soap, with my only complaint being not knowing the weight of it. These really are a great little item that would be perfect as stocking fillers for the boys in your life too.
