One word to sum up these toffees - YUM-O!!!
I am not usually a big fan of toffees, but found these to be delicious, and something I would definitely eat again. They are a lovely treat - especially being chocolate coated - after all - isn't EVERYTHING better with chocolate!!
Because they are all individually wrapped, they are a great treat to have in my bag for me, or for my 3 year old who thinks they are yummy too! Not to mention - the wrapper fascinates my 5 mth old - excellent!! The individually wrapped bit is also perfect for me, as I ration them out - since trying to lose my pregnancy weight!
I'm not a huge lolly/sweets fan - but these are definitely going to be in my pantry as a treat! Yum yum yum yum yum!!.
Chew, chew, chew, slobber, grab the bag, unwrap, swallow!
I've been disappointed by toffees and found these to be great (so great i hid a few in the car to have later). They are nice and soft/chewy without being mushy and off putting. These have the perfect texture and being covered in chocolate are the perfect little something extra.
I did "try" and read the wrappers but didn't have much luck and would be interested to see if Roshen keep the same wrapper but in English or change it. As for the individual wrappers, i felt like so much more than just a tired, washed out mother and housewife. I could feel so much prouder in my chocolate choice of gift for my sister's birthday with the fantastic wrappers (she got ONE of each thing i had cos i didn't really want to share).
Oh my god these are the BEST ever toffees... Absolute perfection. The perfect combination of toffee and chocolate! I'm in love!! lol
These toffees have, and I am surprised to be saying this, taken the place of most of my old faithful Macintosh Toffees... most being all but one I love 'Egg & cream'.
Being that the packaging was in Russian, I don't think I realized these were chocolate coated, so it was a very delightful surprise to unwrap this perfect little morsel and find a chocolate delight, rather than simply a toffee. I savoured the chocolate... Roshen has divine chocolate, and then bit into the tastiest and most perfect little chewy toffee... so good that I only shared one each per other person in my household, and then finished the rest of the bag all my myself *blush*
The thing I like the most about Roshen, is everything!! hehe But other than that, I love how elegant their packaging/wrappers are. I feel so much more like a lady having these truly divine treats in my bag or pocket.
