These folks were really quite impressive. I have 'mystery shopped' these guys on a number of occasions and always found them to be firmly in control without being rude or bossy.
They went out of their way to make their point when I queried them on some of their assessments, and yet were always polite and even friendly, despite me ranting at them. Passed the 'awkward customer' test with flying colours.
They were always right up-to-date with LTSA Guidelines, which is always a good thing. If they slip up, YOU are the one who still gets a ticket, so accuracy is of paramount importance. They even notified me of a breach on my own car that I wasn't aware of.
And once you are on their books, their reminder notices also double as a $5 discount voucher, to take a little more sting out of the process for us as car owners.
Located right next to a repair workshop, and just across the road from an auto-accessories retailer... you don't have to go far to get your vehicle up to scratch in no time. Even under moderately bad circumstances, if you had some fixes to do before the buggy would pass, it would be a few hours tops, from drive-in to drive-out.
Overall, well, I have found my new regular WoF Issuer now.
