Wow! These books are really great. I am a homeschooling mum and I am considering using these workbooks permanently. At the moment I am just using them to complement our existing curriculum and I am already starting to see where our curriculum is lacking.
My son reluctantly tried out the science workbook and found it to be interesting and informative. It covers a vast range of topics and even includes experiments which my kids LOVE to do. The topics range from things like sound, to the human body, endangered animals, planet earth to simple machines.

The books are just in black and white but they use interesting little cartoons to illustrate the topic they are talking about and differing ways of getting the information out of the children. For example they might have a picture diagram with numbered labels to fill in after reading the information. Or a word find.... (what child doesnt like a wordfind!!) and True/false questions. Very well put together.

I like in the Mathematics how they have a well set-out explanation at the beginning and then an example. Again they use cool looking cartoons and lots of different ways of getting the information across, eg. Pictures of place value blocks, spider web subtraction charts, graphs with vehicles, jigsaw puzzles. Love it.

The English covers so many different areas its amazing. From reading plays, poems, sentences, oral and written language. It has a glossary, which I thought was really handy, another skill the children can learn to use. And again interesting pictures and creative ways of getting the information across.

The homework book gives a real broad start to general knowledge. It has great snippets of information about things that could easily otherwise have been missed. I found my son saying 'I didnt know that' a lot.

Like I said at the beginning 'Wow'! Im really impressed with these books and would highly recommend them. I cant think of anything I would suggest to improve on sorry. Well done.

Product image for Early to Death, Early to RiseSeventeen, dead, and now in charge of heaven's dark angels - all itching to kill someone.

Madison Avery's dreams of ever fitting in at her new school died when she did. Especially since she was able to maintain the illusion of a body, deal with a pesky guardian angel, and oh yeah, bring the reaper who killed her to his own untimely end. Not exactly 'in-crowd' material. It's amazing that her crush, Josh, doesn't think she's ... more...

"I like to pick up hitchhikers. When they get in the car I say, "Put on your seat belt. I want to try something. I saw it once in a cartoon, but I think I can do it."
