Very similar to a typical "Supreme" style pizza, this offering from Domino's is a little different. With the shredded Cotto ham and the special sauce, it has quite a bit of extra flavour. The only down-side for me was the garlic... sections of the pizza had none, while others had so much that was all we could taste. This, I think, simply comes down to how busy the store was at the time. When I arrived to collect the food the place was packed, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt on this one... no-one is at their best under that kind of pressure after all.
Overall, a pizza with a lot of potential, but I would like to see something that really lifts it clear of the pack... so saying, it was an AWESOME feed on the Edge Crust which made a filling pizza absolutely belt-bustingingly huge! Not bad for only a couple of extra dollars more.
This would have to be my pick for the 70's range of pizzas. From looking at the name I instantly imagined a pizza that resembled an egyption pyramid of toppings and couldn't wait, but it still looks like your average pizza. Tastewise it's real good, everything doesnt end up blending together and tasing like chicken thankfully, and the pineapple gives it a nice sweetness. After my first bite my stomach told me my hands were to slow in getting the slices into me. Hope domino's keeps this one for a while.
I must admit when I heard 'The Lot' I was under the automatic assumption that I would not like this pizza. 'The Lot' sounds so overbearing. But Dominos has done this one nicely. Admittedly I did remove the pineapple, but that's a Me thing. And once the Pineapple was suitably removed I must admit this was quite tasty and not at all overbearing. This is the pizza for people who like a lot of topping, and a decent taste level to boot.
It's not on my favourites list, but it was much better than I expected and I certainly wouldn't turn my nose up at another piece.
