I only have 1 word for these chicken tenders YUM YUM YUM, they have to got to be without a doubt the best chicken tenders ever made, they really are that good. I really love Hell pizza but as it is a lot more pricier than other pizza places out there it's not very often we have it. Last night however happened to be one of those nights where we did splash out and get Hell instead of either Domino's or Pizza Hutt.
For my partner and I, I ordered 2 pizzas and a side of lemon pepper wedges. As Miss 2 seems to have gone off pizza just recently I decided to get her some chicken tenders, as I didn't think there was anyway she would turn these down, anything coated in a crispy crumb seems to be a hit with her after all, so I was sure these wouldn't disappoint.
The chicken tenders come in a pack of 6 which I actually think is a good price as it works out to be $1 per tender, which is really a good price considering they are real chicken, that's right REAL CHICKEN, not processed mush. Miss 2 began eating her tenders and in between bites would say "they very nice", now when she usually eats she doesn't say much so I thought they were actually REALLY NICE or she was just happy to have got chicken tenders for dinner. Luckily enough for me, I was offered one by Miss 2, and being quite a crumbed chicken fan I didn't turn the chance down. My oh my these certainly were some super tasty tenders the best I have ever tasted they really were that good.
These would make such a great meal from Hell without pizza and would go great just with a side of their wedges, there is a great range of dipping sauces to choose from sour cream, garlic mayo, sweet and sour, cranberry, smokey BBQ and tomato... the hard part is deciding which one to get with your tenders as I'm sure they'd all taste great.
These tenders certainly get a huge thumbs up for me with there crisp golden coating and juicy REAL chicken inside, they are sure to be tried again, though I think i'll have to get Miss 2 her own as there to good to share!
These are delicious. They have the actual proper texture of chicken, and are nicely crumbed. The crumbs are actually slightly larger than other tenders, and this makes them easier to hold when hot. I last had these when my work supplied lunch, and they had 10 packs of these tenders, with extra sauces provided; sour cream, garlic mayo, cranberry, sweet and sour, hot chilli, tomato, even a smokey BBQ.
With such a rich variation of sauces, I could have easily had my fill of tenders, without even touching the pizzas. But they were a very popular option, and were snapped up incredibly quickly. I got to try them out with a few different flavours though. The cranberry sauce was beautifully sweet, but very intense, so not a sauce that I could have too much of. The garlic mayo and tomato sauce were the firm favourites, running out almost immediately, with the hot chilli sauce proving to be too warm for many.
A pretty expensive side, but very tasty, and something that I always end up buying despite the price. It's one of those items, that still taste good cold, not that they ever get cold. They are always eaten before that much time has passed.
OMG these are so so good. Had a Hells Pizza tonight and just had to treat myself to some chicken tenders too. They are the best chicken tenders around and I could gladly eat the whole box!! It is so tempting when you order a pizza to get a box of these too as they are always so good. The crumbs are always nice and crisp and the chicken inside is always so juicy and tender!
I love the cranberry dipping sauce that comes with them because I think it complements the juicy crispy chicken fantastically but my partner is more of a garlic mayo man so when we share a box we have to toss a coin to see what sauce we will get to go with them.
The box of 6 tenders is really filling as they are a decent sized tender so could easily be a meal with some wedges without getting any pizza! They are a good price at $6 too so would make a cheap meal! My daughter loves them and doesn't like any of the pizzas so she always gets these!
Ok i am totally addicted to these!! Love love love them and cant order Hell Pizza without adding them onto our order! I must admit i am a total chicken nut anyway, could eat chicken every night of the week and chicken tenders in particular have always been a favourite treat! We order our pizza from Hell Whangarei but i have also have Hell Pizza from a quite a few of the different Auckland branches.
I have always ordered these with the dipping sauce of sour cream, ive no idea why as previously i would never have paired the two together but it really is a great combo. Also great is the garlic mayo which my partner orders. Price wise we tend to get one packet of chicken tenders and one of something else just for variety which gives us three tenders each (although i could easily eat the six all to myself haha)! It would be nice if there was two more tenders per packet but thats just me being fussy
The chicken is always fresh (well as much as it could be) and the coating on these is extra yummy, i think perhaps just because they are deep fried ... So yep totally not good for you but totally yummo!! Fully recommend to others
The taste was very satisfying and it went really well with the chilli and sour cream dipping sauce. I loved the breadcrumb coating and with the chicken inside it, I thought it went really well all together.
I thought that there was a lot and I wanted lots of them because I loved chicken tenders.
It was not too much money to spend on them and it also meant we had plenty of chicken tenders for everyone and if we got too full we could have some the next day.
These arrived just as I was starting to get really hungry, so it wasn't too long to wait.
Evil! Utterly EVIL! It's sinful how delightful and flavoursome these are...
Even compared to some of the more 'upmarket' options out there, these are really good eat'n... especially if you get a good staff person, like we did, who made us up a mixed dip... sour cream and chilli sauce mixed. (We actually got two, one with sweet chilli, one with Hell chilli sauces.)
Overall, well worth throwing in with any pizza order for the 'after pizza snackers'... or the hogs out there.

Well worth investigation, why not pop down and say G'day to Atsushi-san and his staff, and experience the taste sensations that make Yatai so famous.
