Product reviews...
Jewellery making and bead work are crafts I have been wanting to get into for such a long time, that I leapt at the chance to review this book. A brief flick through had me eager to give several of the projects a try, and wanting to rush out to the nearest bead supplier!
For each project, the instructions were clearly laid out and easy to follow, with a basic step-by-step process for several techniques that I have often wondered how to do shown in the back, along with a list of the tools of the trade. The creations themselves all had a simple, yet elegant beauty to them, rather than some bead/jewellery making books I've come across in the past where the projects have looked- well- trashy, or just way over done.
Being a complete beginner in this kind of thing, I was a little worried I'd have trouble with some of the techniques, but they truly were easy to follow. Once I've worked through a few more of the projects in this book, I think I'll be tracking down some of the others in the series. If you're into arts-n-crafts, and especially bead projects, "Bead Fantasies IV" is well worth giving a go.
