Product reviews...
As a automotive tech by trade for over 25 or so years, my poor nephew (poor as in no money) has an old 1990 mitsubishi lancer sei. As you can imagine a young man at polytech fresh from school and not on much of a wage being a student and yes knows it all at such a young age. Well he brought this bargain off trade me ,it did have shiny wheels and a stereo that can make more noise than my kids and yes lowered springs cool !!! . Yes when he got it home and left it over night and started it cold did it rattle mainly through lack of oil pressure and hence starving the lifters off oil due to gunk and sludge build up throughout the engine. So with a nil budget we set out to give this engine some loving and try to reduce such a racket on first start up . Firstly we removed the rocker cover and rocker assemble gave it all a good clean and engine flush ,change the oil and filter etc . When started it up still a good rattle was there . Feeling a little sorry for him i suggested we could try this stuff called Motor Up Premium Engine Restorer thinking that it wouldnt make much of a improvement but worth a go . So just for a matter of interest i gave it a compression test before and after a good run low and behold , This MOTOR UP PREMIUM ENGINE RESTORER raised the compression and also evened them out much to my surprise , but there it is the results right in front of us . But the results got better the oil pressure gained pressure at hot idol and most of all gained oil pressure much quicker on first starts and even more remarkable the horrible lifter rattle settled down to be as quiet as a mouse . All this for under $30 in my opinion this product is worth it weight in gold and now i keep one on the shelve . Value for money 10 out of 10 . Quality results speak for them selves . Ease of installation couldnt be more simple my nine year old son could it , do you dont even pick up a tool or get your hand dirty . My advice is if you have a older or worn motor i recommend to all of you to treat your motor a can of MOTOR UP PREMIUM ENGINE RESTORER just as a little of assistance or even piece of mind as it cheap compared to a rebuild or worse looking for a new car
Another good part of the full Motor-Up range this made some real improvements to the engine performance, especially after an accidental trip over a badly signposted 4wd track that apparently shouldn't have let me get as far as I did. Guess I just know how to drive. If you want to get better life and performance out of your engine you should give this stuff a try for sure. It might not work miracles but you should see some improvements within hours of popping the cap and pouring this in. It really is the easiest engine tune-up you can do yourself. Not even greasy hands afterwards.
