I was bored, OK?! I wanted something different for dinner, and my son was going to be dining with me as well. He's such a messy eater when it comes to spaghetti, so I thought these little morsels would be a good bet.
Now, being a right carnivore, and having a preference for beef, something like Chicken and Basil wasn't high on my list, but I didn't see any "Hunk-o-Steak' flavoured sacchetti, so this was the best bet for me.
YUMMO! SOOOOoooooo easy to prepare too! Boil water, drop these in, wait 10 minutes, drain, add pasta sauce, heat through, ladel into bowls, munch! 15 mintes from whoa to go. Can't get much better than that, can you?
Served up with a nice crisp side-salad of brocolli and cauliflower florets, some lightly blanched carrot sticks Julien, drizzled with a little garlic butter, this was a really easy to prepare meal, healthy and simple, with plenty of flavour.
Overall, a nice dish. A bit pricey, but high points for being able to make a good presentation. Grab a couple of packs and invite the friends over for dinner. Minimal effort, maximum impression possible.
