Product reviews...
I found this book amazingly informative. Regardless of whether or not you have Endometriosis it provides an interesting and in-depth view into the world of those who do. It is set out in a simple, straightforward manner with a very easy to read format, it gives information to you in 'small bites' making it easier to digest.
Each chapter is scattered with personal stories, quick tips, endo action tasks, and reflections which ask questions and urge you to write them in an endo diary to help you keep track of the disease.
Deborah Bush QSM, CEO New Zealand Endometriosis Foundation wrote "Andrea has written an informative and comprehensive guidebook of endometriosis which includes easy-to-follow self-help tips so that the reader will feel knowledgeable and can actively be involved in disease management."
Whilst Andrea Molloy is a personal coach rather than a scientist I actually feel that gives this book an edge over others. It isn't overly technical, and it's more about helping you while informing you rather than just bare facts. There's some particularly informative myth-busting, and good symptom information to compare your own to.
Oh and don't be put off by the foreword, which is rather dry.
I can thoroughly recommend this book to anyone who wants to know more about this disease.
