Okay I have a confession I watch Dance Moms and I love it.... there I have said it. I have basically seen pretty much all of the episodes besides season one as was not available to download on Sky and I have watched JoJo dance her little heart out. I have watched her mother fight with Abby, the other mothers, k its pretty fair to say almost everyone and I have watched JoJo evolve. I watched her walk out of the studio doors because she did not want to dance the way Abby asked her and she never returned and was never discussed ever again.

I honestly did not have a clue who she was, until one day while watching the show my daughter said 'that's JoJo' and I said 'who' and she said 'the girl who sings Boomerang'. I had no idea she was anybody before that show. So watching this documentary was an eye opener. She actually started out as a YouTube star where she would pour a juice over her head in her weekly podcast and she discussed things that mattered in her life. She still is heavily involved in social media and now, her music career is taking off. The songs that she performs live at the Mall were completely new to me but both of my girls knew them, and my eldest even commented that she hated the video clip to Kid in a Candy Store. They also confessed that they have watched her videos a lot and knew all sorts of information regarding her.

I always knew her as 'over the top Bow Girl' but she now sells them and is extremely well off thru the sales. She has a huge fan base and is only fourteen and after watching this I can see why. She is so positive and inspirational and is tackling bullying around the globe. Yes she is loud and completely OTT but at the same time extremely lovable. I saw a completely different side to her and her mother. Both of my girls were in awe and I thought that this is someone I would be very proud to have my daughters look up to. She is not trying to grow up to fast and is loving being a child, she is very humbled by every experience that is given to her and she is very dedicated to her fans and her career.

The documentary does not go very long but you find yourself completely taken by the whole thing. It gives a brief look at her growing up told thru home movies or pictures and she pops up talking about it. It shows the new songs and then the performance at the malls. You meet her dance crew briefly but it is very uplifting. Then there is the special features. It includes the two new songs Kid in a Candy Store and Hold the Drama in both lyrical version, so you can sing away to the songs and then there is the actual video. We played both and my girls were up dancing away to it and next minute singing away. There are a couple of other videos which do not go very long and really I found not to be very relevant. Although, both of my girls were upset that the Boomerang video does not appear on it.

This video is very uplifting and if you have a fan of JoJo Siwa's it would make a great Christmas Present. Both of my girls have now asked for her Bows and my eldest said the movie had her pumping and how inspiring she is. My youngest watched three quarters of it then disappeared for five minutes then came back and watched the rest of it and asked if she could watch it again.

I have to say I do hope her career continues and she becomes the star that she is striving to be. She is a very positive young lady and someone I think the world she take notice of.
