Elf: Buddy's Musical Christmas tells the story of Buddy the Elf, and his quest to reunite with the human father he never knew existed. While Buddy's sincerity and idealism are commonplace at the North Pole, these attributes are rejected in cynical New York City. But through song, dance, and relentless good cheer, Buddy rekindles the spirit of Christmas for the entire city

For the past week this movie has been on every couple of days the kids have really been enjoying it and getting in the Christmas spirit. This movie with all its singing is bound to get you feeling chriatmassy and you might even find yourself singing along to the songs like my kids have been.
Buddy ces to find his dad and I'm true Christmas movie fashion gets everyone in the Christmas including eventually his own father. Such a sweet story line with of course a happy ending. The storyline is the same as another movie call Elf that you may od seen before with the exact same elf going to find his dad and spreading xmas spirit theme except this is more of an animated musical with lots and lots of singing.
The movie is quite short so you can watch it with younger children and as there is lots of singing it keeps their attention well my 3 year old sat and watched the whole show. My eldest child 13 watched with us and now won't stop asking to get the Elf movie out and have a Xmas movie night so it has definitely got her in the mood for xmas.
Although none of the songs in the movie are familiar they are very easy to sing along to as they are catchy so catchy in fact you find yourself humming to yourself throughout the day after the movie has played. My son has been learning to sing xmas songs at daycare so he was very interested in these new songs and quick to tell me what songs he has been singing.
The movie has a great ending bound to make you go awww, all in all a good short movie you could watch with your children this xmas.
