When the doctor told me that the cartilage in my knees and wrists was degrading badly and that there was a very good chance I would need surgery within 10 years I was quite freaked out. I dont like surgery of any kind. I cant even stand to have my teeth drilled. So I thought anything is worth trying if it will keep me off the surgery table and thats when I found this in the local pak'n'save. I figured at nearly 50 cents per tablet, about a dollar a day to keep the scalpel away was worth a shot. After 2 months the doc was stunned by the results of the MRI on my knees. Not only has the damage stopped, but the cartilage is rebuilding itself at a great rate. The pain has gone when I walk, and I am even able to do light jogging without extreme discomfort. At this rate, I am told I will be able to get back to normal within a year and avoid needing to go under the knife at all. I am over the moon at news like that! Sure, its not going to be cheap, but what price can you put on your health? $1 a day for 10 years is around $37,000... which is less than half of the cost of a proper surgical job, which *MIGHT* give me 5-10 years of passable functionality before a possible repeat surgery. I think I prefer this option and the best bit is I wont need to find a huge lump of money at once or take out a loan. Great stuff.
