EJ12 Girl Hero #19: False Note product reviews

When priceless violins are stolen, SHINE suspects evil agency SHADOW is orchestrating something big. But how did the thief just walk out without anyone stopping her? Special Agent EJ12 and the STAR team must work in concert to find out. That's the easy part. As EJ12, Emma Jacks can do anything. So why does she find doing her school passion project so hard? Perhaps she doesn't after all.

My Miss Eight is a huge EJ fan and is always on the lookout for the next EJ12 book. She really enjoys the adventures that Emma Jacks has and loves all the spy stuff such as working out codes and is transferring this knowledge into creating her own codes which pop up all over the house. I think she is really getting into the SHINE and SHADOW thing as well.

I really like in this whole series how EJ always relies on her friends to help and this sends a really good message I think to young girls that it is important to have good reliable friends and also that your friends are those that you can rely on.

I like the difference in adventures "missions" that EJ has and this is a good way for my Miss Eight to learn about different things. She enjoyed reading about violins and music and this seems to have inspired a bit of singing in our house.

This book follows the same winning formula of previous EJ12 books so if your little Miss has enjoyed previous EJ12 books then this will also be a popular choice and if not this is as good a book to start on as any. We are already eagerly awaiting the next book (book 20 I believe in the series) and Miss Seven is starting to move on from the earlier Spy Girl series into this one so these books will continue to find themselves well read.
