I've always been a fan of Crayola choosing their quality of drawing materials over any other brand on the market due to these always being so rich and bold in colour. When I brought Miss 2 some cheap pens from the $2 shop the other day (they lasted 2 minutes, if that, half of the pens were already ink less as soon as removed the lid) I knew this was likely to happen so I'm not to sure as to why I still decided to buy them to be honest. Anyway she started getting upset that they were broken so we quickly popped into the car and drove up the road to our local paper plus where we grabbed some of these Crayola SuperTips Washable Markers.

Straight away I was impressed with the quality of these felt pens which were so rich, vibrant and bright in colour, they were the right size for Miss 2 to easily hold on to and she loved testing out all of the colours and was very excited to see "there's lots of pink and purple, my favourite Mummy". The variety of colours in the pack is awesome and with 20 in a pack there is almost every colour you could possibly want for drawing with and lots of different shades of each one, perfect for creating and using your imagination and the colours are so true to life and perfect for drawing animals with a vast range of earthly animal tones and colours and even a skin colour for colouring and drawing people, this is not a colour you will often come across.

This set even included 5 special markers which were scented, these smelt great both on and off the paper, these are said to be for ages 6 and up but with supervision they are perfect for a younger audience also. One of the things that I like about Crayola is that there markers are washable which means there easy to clean up off the bench top and they wont stain clothing which is super important to me with a young child. These markers definitely get the thumbs up from me and I will be buying again, though being Crayola brand it wont be for quite some time as they always seem to last for ever.

If KIWIreviews would let me - this would be a three word review - I LOVE THESE !!! However, since reviewing takes a little more , here are some more reasons why these are great !

In our house there are three children - Miss Nearly Six , Miss Three and a Half , and Master Nearly Two . There is a LOT of colouring and drawing happening in our house - and we have had our fair share of cheap , and no good felts , that run out after a short length of time , nibs get pushed in, or the casings break. This is NOT the case with Crayola - and we have never had anything but superb products from them .

I gave Miss Nearly Six these to try out first of all when her siblings were in bed . She was VERY impressed with the range of colours , how rich the colour was , and even wanted to know if she could do her own video review for KIWIreviews ( wanted to know if that meant she would get more things to review! ) .

Miss Nearly 6 noticed that the pictures on the pack showed they could be used thick and thin - and she set about figuring out how to get them to do this . She also noticed the five " different " markers straight away and wanted to know what was different about them . She lit up when discovering they smelled nice !!

When her siblings used them after their naps , I was greatly impressed that all the ages were able to use them with ease - and , shock horror - due to there being 20 in the packet , one packet was enough !! As with all " washable " pens - I am skeptical , however , can categorically say they are !! There have been multiple " tattoo " attempts by my children , and where it has got onto their clothes, with no issues at all.

I absolutely would buy these again , and think they make a great present - for all of the above points. Thankyou so much Crayola - another FABULOUS product!!

These pens get a HUGE seal of approval in my books. I have a 2 year old and as many parents will know they love anything they can draw with. In fact, my little miss will draw on anything and everything regardless if it is paper. So I was stoked to get a chance to try out these washable markers as crayola has such a great name and a high quality product.

I gave miss 2 the pack and some paper and she sat down to draw at the table. The paper looked beautiful full of bright and vibrant creations... so did her hands, her arms and her face (apparently that happens when you look away). I was pleasantly surprised that when I went and got a warm face cloth and began to wipe it off her skin it almost came straight off immediately with very little scrubbing.

In my opinion these pens are a must have for anyone with children they wipe off skin, tables, walls and yes kitchen cupboard (thanks little lady) very easily and I will from now on only be buying these in our house hold. Miss 2 thought they were great and I noticed they were very easy for her to hold onto. Not too chunky and not thin that she had to hold them awkwardly.

Thanks Crayola for a true washable product, that is vibrant, easy to use and even has some special pens that smell amazing in the packet. 10 out of 10!

My 13 year old is very artsy, she loves drawing and doing all sorts of crafts so felt pens are a must have in her art kit. As she is in College there are a lot of times where she will have to create posters or some form of display and felt pens really bring her work to life. We have been through a lot of different brand of felt pens over the years but nothing really stands up to time like the Crayola brand markers do. I think if you want to save money in the long run pay a little bit more originally because these pens will last.

This is a fantastic pack for the older children as you get 20 pens of varying colours in the pack, and there is really every colour you will need for your project from the greens and blues to a fleshy tone for creating people. You also get a variety of hues so you can choose from a light blue or a dark blue which is great for older artists who are specific with the tones they want to use. This is different to the pipsqueaks markers where you get the basic colours so these are definitely great for the older children or even adults.

The pens are great you get clean lines as the tips are really smooth no loose scratchy bits like you often get on cheap pens and the nibs are also pretty robust so they have stood up to the test of my heavy handed 3 year old. As they are a fine tip you can get a lot of detail as you can draw nice thin lines but you can also turn the pen and use the side if you want a thicker line or if you are colouring larger areas which is a nice little tip for faster colouring.

The thing we loved about this pack of pens was the 5 bonus scented markers, these were pretty exciting to my girl and she soon set about writing notes to friends to see if her notes would be scented too. The brown pen has a nice chocolate scent which would of been my favourite but there is definitely a lemon and a berry too so some nice scents to make you hungry while you colour lol.

Felt pens are the absolute drawing device of choice for my 6 year old and always have been. Which means that I feel like I'm becoming a bit of an expert on felt pens and I can tell the difference between good quality ones and the cheapos...

I gave my daughter this pack of Crayola Supertips the other day and her eyes absolutely lit up - it was full of various shades of pinks and purples (her 2 favourite colours), but rest assured there are plenty of blues and greens and well pretty much any colour you would want really (including a blush skin colour - fab!).

She got to drawing and just from watching her, I could see these were juicy and bold and (like they say on the packet) not scratchy... something that I definitely notice with cheap pens. It mentions on the packet that you can draw thin lines (by holding it normally) or thicker lines for colouring by using the side of the pen. This is something I don't think she would have discovered on her own, so I told her how to use them and there was great excitement as she practised doing thick and thin lines... easy peasy for her to manage. And as a bonus there are some lovely scented markers... nothing to overpowering for my sensitive nose either, so I was happy about that!

These pens also claim to be washable so I put them to the test. I drew several marks in various colours on a white piece of knit fabric - the stuff kids tend to wear a lot of. I sprayed half of them with a stain remover and left the other half just as they were. A couple of hours later I put the fabric through the wash and every single mark came right out - perfect! I also marked my skin, the wallpaper, the glass table top, and the bench and every mark wiped right off again...whew!

These pens I would buy again no questions asked - I say don't even bother with cheap pens when you can get great quality ones like these at what I consider a reasonable price. I've used Crayola before, and I know these will last and last and last... even with all the drawing that my daughter does.
