Farscape: Season Two product reviews

Flung through a cosmic wormhole, American astronaut John Crichton finds himself fighting for his life in the middle of an alien prison break, inside a Leviathan a living space ship on the far side of the galaxy. Hunted by the relentless Crais, a commander of the galactic enforcers known as Peacekeepers, Crichton joins forces with the alien convicts hulking warrior Ka Dā ™Argo; blue-skinned Priestess Zā ™haan; diminutive Dominar Rigel XVI; the giant symbiote Pilot and the irreversibly contaminated Peacekeeper Aeryn Sun. Each desperately seeks a way home, but first, they have to find a way to trust one another. Daring escapes and selfless acts of courage forge a measure of loyalty, friendship and even love.

Season Two of Farscape takes off where Season One left us, with Crichton, Aeryn and D'argo stranded while Scorpius is hunting them down and Crais is trying to control Moya's offspring, Talyn. There are lots of hyjinks invovled as they attempt to keep out of Scorpius' and the Peacekeepers hands, the various way that the crew comes up with are at times rather fun and ingenious, though one may well end up resulting in a marriage... The episode "Crackers Don't Matter" is lots of fun and I had a great time watching that particular episode.

The characters are still deeply flawed, there's no huge change in their personalities (unless cause by outside sources they can't control, and they go back to semi-normal afterwards), so the characters we came to know and love from the first season are still just as crazy, kooky and full of attitude. The characters are all well written, though I would have been happy with a little less of Scorpius, there is still enough in here that he isn't the main focus of the season and there is still lots to enjoy outside of the storylines that involve him. If you enjoyed the first season of Farscape then you are sure to enjoy season two.
