Product reviews...
This was not only my first quad copter, but my first air RC vehicle of any kind. This product lived up to all my excitement and expectations. The description does not exaggerate when it says "fits in your hand", it literally is that tiny that it fits in the palm of your hand. The size was one of the most exciting features of this quad for me.
The remote control requires 4 AAA Batteries which are not included in the pack. It also fits in your hand perfectly. Although getting the quad copter to work was not easy. It came charged but before flying it, but it was necessary to pair the remote with the quad and then calibrate the accelerometre and the trim. Following the instructions manual really helped otherwise without the initial calibration it is inoperable.
Flying it can be a bit twitchy and needs some getting used to. There is pitch, roll and yaw to think about all at ones which can become too much when it is flying straight into a wall. But it is very durable and shock proof, I have crashed it many times and it still lives on strong! The propeller's pop off sometime when you crash but that is to stop them breaking, and four spare ones are also provided. It flies around fast and can maintain a hover too. Flight time on a full charge is around 3 to 4 minutes, and a full charge can be achieved in under 30 minutes using a USB cable provided.
I think this quad copter is great fun, great value for money and an inexpensive way to get into the hobby air RC vehicles, or simple just to cure boredom.
