Bursting with blackcurrants and raspberries, Kopparberg Mixed Fruit Cider spoils you. Rich and indulgent with an effervescent energy, its best served cold over mountains of ice.

I saw this on special in the supermarket and I'm a sucker for anything on special, especially when it's flavoured cider! I personally enjoy most berry ciders and was attracted to the pictures of blackcurrants and raspberries on the label. I hadn't really heard of Kopparberg Ciders beforehand but was happy to give it a go!
I poured half a bottle in a glass to have with dinner and although the label says that it's 'best served cold over mountains of ice' I decided I wouldn't risk having it watered down! It was a lovely vibrant colour with lots of bubbles and I found it to be a really refreshing, fruity cider that went down really, really well! It had enough alcohol content to put a smile on my face without me feeling any worse for wear! I had the rest of the bottle later in the evening and felt fine when I went to bed!!
I would, and have, bought this cider again and I would recommend you to try it when you next see it as it's a comparable cider to the other bigger brands and tastes just as good! They offer a few other flavours which I have tried and they are also great tasting ciders, especially the Strawberry and Lime.
While in the supermarket recently I noticed this cider due to its colourful label that looks inviting and since the flavour sounded like it would be nice so thought that it would be good to buy some and share with friends over dinner.
First thing all of us did was to sniff it (funny how before joining KIWIreviews we would never think of sniffing drinks first) and found that it smelt nice and had a subtle smell. Lucky it tasted as nice as I was expecting but since we were busy cooking dinner at the time I did find that after a few sips I was starting to get a bit light headed but it was so nice that I didn't want to stop drinking it.
I do like how the information is shown on the label so it is easy to know how strong the alcohol is. The label overall is styllsh but I do find that the gold writing is a bit hard to read easily (it might be my eyes).
I would happily buy this cider again as it has a pleasant taste and is a good price. I notice there are other flavours so I might have to go and explore a bit with my taste buds.

After the earthquakes we got heavily involved in the initial reopening of te Christchurch CBD. We set up a cafe in 3 forty foot containers within the Re-start Mall and in conjunction with this cafe we created a new coffee blend called Re:start and decided to donate 30 cents per 200 gram pack to help rebuild the badly damaged Court Theatre.
The Re:START blend is a really full-on coffee, with plenty of depth. One for the real coffee ... more...
