Rexona Clinical Protection product reviews

I used this as a last resort / act of desperation. I had never needed extra sweat protection before, but I had been put on medication that made me HOT, even in winter. Besides dealing with a hundred wolf whistles a day, my metabolism was cranked right up to full speed and my normal deodorant of choice just couldn't cut it anymore.

You do need to be a little bit flexible, not so much bendy, but able to shift your routine around if you're a morning-shower/bath person which I am, as you need to apply it the night before, after you've showered or bathed, and don't need to apply it in the morning. I'm not sure what happens if you apply it only in the morning, instead of the previous nights application. I assume that it won't have the time to absorb fully, thereby not giving you the heavy-duty protection that you've bought it for.

The scent wasn't "chemical-ly" and was light, floral and refreshing. I don't usually like floral but this was quite subtle and not overpowering. Also, it didn't irritate my sensitive skin which was a bonus. When I bought this product it was pricey - around the $14 mark at my local countdown - as I was getting pretty desperate before I found this deodorant but heck, by that time I would've paid for two or three so I didn't mind paying out (plus, I had no choice).

For the time that I needed it (around a year), it was invaluable and would totally recommend it!

A few years ago my teenage daughter hit puberty and I noticed that no matter how much she showered and how much she applied deodorant that she had this very nasty smell to her. I had her try a few different deodorants but nothing worked so I thought that as a last resort to spend the extra dollars and get this product.

I opened the box and read the directions and thought I'm not sure this is going to work but at that stage was willing to give anything a go. She had her shower and put some on and then complained that she didn't like how it felt on her underarms but I told her to wait and we will decide how effective it is after a day at school.

She came home from school and I was a bit hesitant to get close to her for a hug but when I did get close to hug her I noticed that she still smelt nice and pleasant. A few more days and no more complaints from school so I guess it was definitely worth the extra cost.

I had a sniff straight from the bottle as I like to know how strong the fragrance is and noticed that the actual fragrance is light and not that overpowering. She has found some other deodorants that she prefers which aren't costing an arm and leg each time but I'm still eternally grateful for this product as it was a sanity saver at the time.

I would highly recommend this deodorant to anyone who wants a bit of extra protection from nasty smells, it really does work.
