Louise Bagshawe books are amazing. They are so well written you do not want to put down. I used to work for Princess Cruises and her book went right throughout the ship and anyone reading was usually late for work because you just didn't want to stop till it was finished. Her characters are always woman who come thru struggles and find there inner strength.
The Movie is about the journey of a Movie from being written, finding the right actors and then filming of the Movie. There is sex, tears and power fights. Everything you want from a book is right here. It mainly tells the story of Megan Silver who writes the perfect movie and desperately wants to get it made. Along comes David he knows his career will explode with this book and with his backing it the Movie is made. Roxana Felix is the model everyone wants but she has deep dark secrets that could ruin her if they get out. All she wants is to be loved and adored by people around the world. Zach was the lead singer in the biggest band but quit - deciding to go down a different road he joins the cast and then there's Eleanor Marshall newly appointed Studio President everyone wants her to fail and she needs a hit to cement her position.
Positively a fantastic book. A great escape from reality for a while as you get sucked into the behind the scenes dramas. This is the sort of book that needs to actually be made into a Movie. Once you read a Louise Bagshawe book you are wanting to read more. So easy to understand and written so beautifully. Love it!! Can not praise enough.
