Tatua Dairy Whip Chocolate Dessert Topping is one of those great inventions that make life so much easier. In the past I have always kept a can of the plain Dairy Whip, which resembles a cream in the fridge for those occasions where you need a little bit of cream with your cake or dessert, but not enough that you need to whip up a whole bottle!

I was excited to see this chocolate version available in my supermarket chiller and decided to purchase it as something different. The chocolate whip, is very much like that of chocolate mousse in both texture and taste, but perhaps a little more light and creamy. Although it was absolutely delicious being eaten on its own as you would do a mousse, it was also great with cake, in sweet pastry cases and with pancakes with a drizzle of chocolate sauce to make the ultimate sweet treat.

The can is very easy to use, just a few good shakes and it's good to go. Just push the button and the chocolate whip comes out of the nozzle so easy to manage, and is mess free. The only downfall I guess you would say about the canned chocolate whip is that you can't prepare a product with it in advance as it does become watery and does tend to start evaporating, though it is easy enough to add quickly just before serving. It is quite a small amount of servings for the price you pay for it though if you need convenience and a quick dessert topper then this is definitely the way to go. Though I wouldn't have this as a staple in my fridge I will buy again as a treat maybe for birthdays or other special occasions, very yummy!

Tatua Dairy Whip Chocolate Dessert Topping is one of those fun products, like whipped cream in a can, that for most families is not a regularly seen item in the refrigerator but more of a treat item, or item bought for special occassions such as birthdays or Xmas, or maybe just because you can when on special.

For my family, it is a fun product reserved generally for special occassions. Its a chocolate whip, much like a very light weight mousse, perfect for use as a mousse, or for adding to other goodies to make the perfect sweet treat. It is a wonderful addition to ice cream, is nice on top of a cup cake if being eaten straight away, and my kids also like it in brandy baskets (in place of the usual cream).

It is a very light whip, easy to use straight from the can. It is not a product you can add to something and leave stand for a long period as it can become watery when left to sit a while. It is a very nice chocolate flavour, not to rich or dense. Just right. My only real complaint would be that for the price you do pay it would be nice if it would go further. There arent really that many servings per can, which is kind of a let down. All in all fir a special treat it is great though.

Tatua Dairy Whip Chocolate Dessert Topping is like heaven in a can. It is so easy to use - just push the button and out comes the most lightest, fluffiest, chocolate moose you have ever had. A topping that is so versatile that you could use with practically everything pancakes, on top of a yummy pie.

It is made from real NZ cream and it is divine. Doesn't get clogged up in the can like other dessert toppers. Easy to understand instructions are located on the back of the can and really it is so simple to use that even a baby could do.

I was a little hesitant to use at first because have had some bad experiences with this sort of thing previously and so thought I would just have a little. But, once the spoon hit my mouth it was like I had seriously died and gone to heaven. We have used a couple of ways already on banana pancakes, as a banana split sauce and on top of an Apple and Rhubarb pie (although husband didn't go for that). We have used quite a lot this past week and still has more in the can and I am not shy with the servings. My girls and I love it. As a chocolate moose lover I find this is just fantastic. I think this is way better then the packet ones where you add milk. Definitly recommend to any dessert lovers out there.
