The leader of the Yard Crew, Mike the Mower is a cut above the rest, with his hard-working, can-do attitude. When preschoolers push him along, he comes to life with 12 fun phrases. His realistic lawnmower sounds and animated mouth with "grass- chompin" action are sure to be a hit. Pretend grass swirls around a clear chamber and a simple snap-on handle makes for easy portability. Three AA batteries are included.

My son has just recently started getting interested in all things noisy. He loves Dad's garden power tools a lot and loves to try and play with them. We picked up one of these mowers for him to play with and he absolutely loves it! It was a good price and we got it on special too so even better and it seems to be built really tough so it is going to last him until he no longer wants to play with it.
It is a good size for him so he is able to push it around easily and although it is not heavy it has enough weight at the front end that it doesn't tip up if he leans on it too heavily. It has been fantastic for him for role playing, he goes out in the garden and pretends to mow the lawn just like dad and it can keep him entertained for a long time. The other good thing is that it can be used indoors too for those rainy days inside.
It makes some lawn mowing sounds when you start pushing it which I think would of been enough but it also says phrases like power up and this grass is tough which gets a bit annoying after a while. I tried the sneaky turning it off with the on off switch thing but that wasn't fooling my clever little man who soon started demanding that it would be turned back on.
