A great sorting toy. My son got this for his first birthday and since then he has played with it over and over again, he will come out of his room with it still at the age of 3.5years old. The colours are great there is 3 shapes per colour, yellow, red, blue and green. Not only are they learning shapes, they learn colours.
I love how its not very easy for them to do, they need to find the correct side with the correct shape hole. The lid is easy to get off and on and a child can do it themselves without having to get angry and ask an adult for help while they are having solo play. Its a great toy to play alongside with your child naming the shapes and colour and helping them guide the shape into the hole.
My son uses this toy for so many ideas, lining all the shapes up and naming them with some help, makes them into patterns of colours, and sticks them in the holes. I love its wooden as wooden lasts for ages. The shapes are starting to have paint worn off them but this just shows me its been used over and over again for 2.5 years.
