Magic Ball product reviews

This very exciting wooden bead frame will encourage little fingers to explore all of the different ways to push and pull the beads.

A very popular toy.

A very cool wooden toy that works well in an early childhood centre with young children because this very exciting wooden bead frame will encourage little fingers to explore all of the different ways to push and pull the beads. Another great aspect of this toy is the elastic holding it together....the elastic is flexible so the children can push on the wooden frame and it all bounces back up again.

It is light enough to be somewhat rolled along the floor or thrown into a container of sorts as an aim and shoot game for older children. The colourful beads encourage colour recognition and promote fine motor skills as the children push them along the elastic.

A pretty indestructible toy that can stand some long hours of play, and suits all ages but is better suited for children under two but does offer older children a different aspect of play. A very versatile toy that is good value and stands the test of being played with over and over. A good toy to buy for a birthday present or Christmas, even as a baby shower present.

I first discovered the magic ball when I took my 6 month old to a friend's house and her baby was playing with it. I just had to buy one for my girl.

Looking at the photo it looks like a beads frame that you can roll . It is, but it can do so much more. It squashes down and pops back up again. This is not only fun for the baby but it means that when Mummy stands on it the ball doesn't roll away causing Mummy to go for a slide and it doesn't break.

We have had ours for two children now and it is still going strong. Other than a few bit marks there is no sign of wear. It is a toy that is built to last.

I have recommended the magic ball to other parents and have given them as baby shower gifts. They are fabulous.

My 2yo was given this when she was younger, and it has since been passed on down to her baby sister. I must say, that like any toy that we buy or get given, I don't expect it to last long, at least no as long as it has done so far, 2 years and still going strong. The good thing, actually, the really good thing, is that if I stand on it, it just folds up, so I don't go slipping and sliding (and sometimes slamming) into things. It's bright and colourful, provides a good amount of entertainment and is durable (always a must when you have kids) and when the time comes I will pass this on to my friend, that is, if my girls can part with it.

This toy is definately bright and interesting looking. It is also sturdy and can take a lot of punishment from the children.
I must say though that my son was only interested in throwing it for a short time and then I just couldnt get him to be interested in it. I showed him the beads and how it squashes and stretches but nothing I did could get him to show any more interest.
My older children played 'dodge the magic ball' on the tramp with it several times. I'm sure thats not what it is intended for, but it made for some fun.
Over all I can see the potential for this toy to be fun but the bottom line was my 21month old just wasn't interested. The price is definately right though, it is very affordable.

This toy is fantastic!!
It can be rolled across the floor, thrown, squished so it springs back up, it has beads that move back and forth, and it is great for a teething toy.

The magic ball is great for getting children to use their imagination, it is bright & fun too!! I also love the fact that this toy is wooden and that it is the right size for little hands. My son loves playing with it.

The price is great, this toy has handled alot of punishment from my son from biting it, throwing it, to sitting on it and it is still all in one piece.

I would definatly buy one for myself and its a great present for 1st birthdays.
