You can't beat a delicious hot sausage roll, and when it comes to buying frozen sausage rolls the New Way Sausage Rolls have to be my sausage rolls of choice, especially now that they have a few amazing varieties available such as cheese, chicken and garlic and spinach. We often have a pack of these frozen in our freezer so that we can quickly thaw these out when we have unexpected visitors or when we are in need of a quick and easy meal that tastes good too.

One of the best things I like about these sausage rolls is that they are packed really well, and I love the way there are 4 individual rolls which makes them easy to separate and also means you don't need to cook them all in one go. Being in long rolls means that you are able to cut them up as big or as small as you like. My daughter loves sausage rolls and so these always make there way onto her birthday party food list, at the parties these are always the first food item to go and enjoyed by both the children and the adults especially with a yummy side of Wattie's tomato sauce.

The pastry is perfect and always crisps up golden and flaky like how a good sausage roll should be, and the meat is of a good quality with a nice flavour lightly seasoned with herbs, salt and pepper, and it is not full of gristle like I find to be the case with many sausage rolls.

I'm sure that I will continue to be buying New Way sausage rolls for years to come, as they are just such a tasty morsel which is hard to resist. A great product which I hope stays the same for many more years to come.

My mum always had these in the freezer while I grew up and they were a perfect quick put together meal when she had run outta time. I remember loving them and the pastry was always perfectly flakey and matched together with tomato sauce New Way Sausage Rolls were perfect.

I haven't bought these recently as I prefer to make my own from scratch these days but the last time I did buy them as an adult they just didn't taste the same. I guess nothing ever does taste the same as you remember as a kid, I probably had so much tomato sauce on them that I probably never actually tasted the sausage roll on its own as a kid. Also when I bought them they seemed a lot smaller than I remembered as well. I grew up watching Alison Holst on the television so having her in the house on the packet of New Way Sausage Rolls was always a treat, it was like having her in the house cooking the sausage rolls for us.

I am not sure if I would buy these now from the supermarket because I remember being disappointed the last time I brought them, but if you are after a quick and easy no fuss meal or snack these make a great treat to keep in the freezer, and what child or adult doesn't enjoy a good munch in a savoury pastry treat.

My husband has a sausage roll addiction. He should be in SRA (Sausage Rolls Anonymous). So its not unusual for us to have a packet of New Way Sausage Rolls in the freezer. We buy them for BBQ parties as a pre-dinner snack for our hosts, but its been known to happen that left to his own devices we end up with a plate of sausage rolls each for dinner. In fact, one of our most romantic moments was a picnic of sausage rolls at dusk in a park he had driven past one day and just had to take me too. So sweet.

Anyway, what I love about New Way Sausage rolls is, they are really well packed, including individually wrapped, so they dont stick together. You can cook up as much or as little of them as you like, and they snap really easily even when frozen solid. Portion wise, its up to you what size to make them. So you can cut them to suit. A bowl of tomato sauce and you are set.

The price is great, they are already frozen so you can just bulk buy it for your chest freezer or whatever and they make a great party food, dinner (but maybe some veges wouldnt go amiss too :P) or romantic interlude - as long as your lady (or gentleman) loves a good roll too.

We don't often have things in the freezer that I would class along the lines of 'ready meal' but these rolls are one thing that we always have handy.
I prefer the 'packaged in a whole roll' product to the free flow bags. As they start to defrost they can be cut into the right size for what you want them for. We often use them for a quick chips and beans dinner. I cook 2 rolls which I slice, prior to cooking, into a portion each for me, Mr and Miss8. I then cut the remaining portion into little segments for tea or lunch boxes. As they are a decent size they are good for any purpose.
I do find that they need a fair bit of cooking and a good hot oven to achieve the bakery browness on the pastry and they are definitely better when glazed with milk. It gives them a good shine.
One thing I have noticed is that some children will not eat them as there are visible vegetables in the meat mix. Nothing wrong with a few hidden vegetable in my book!

Bought some of these frozen sausage rolls for a morning tea we had planned at work. There were five long rolls in the pack, ready for you to cut into smaller pieces. The rolls were simple to seperate - no fuss here, this made only using three and chucking the rest in the fridge no hassle at all.

I cut each of the three rolls into six, giving me 18 small sausage rolls. I baked them for about 30 minutes, and they were piping hot, golden and ready.

They tasted great, nothing extra special, but a good old fashioned meaty sausage roll. Great value for money too. And they are even endorsed by our own Alison Holst, thats got to be a good thing!

2 days before the most recent Games Night, we observed quite a sizable attendees list had accumulated, and decided to double the quantity of nibble-foods previously planned for.

At such short notice, we had only one option, buy 'em and bake 'em ourselves. So off to Woolies for a stock-up. A couple of packets of these sausage rolls, a mountain of chips, some assorted beverages (for the setup team), and off we went.

Out with the chinese cleaver and chopping board, and a few swift strokes resulted in well over 100 sausage nibbles. And by using our Woolworths Onecard, we made savings that allowed us to extend the budget even further. So the Watties Tomato Sauce was a bonus. :)

Overall, these are just the thing. Have them on hand in case of extra visitors during BBQ season, for that sudden influx of friends' kids when you ;just happen to have the pool set up out back', and other such happenings.
