I absolutely love the Maggi Stirfry Creation Sauces and have tried this flavour as well as the Honey, Soy and Garlic and the Chinese 5 Spice and Soy Beef varieties. They are so easy to prepare and always leave you with a lovely flavoursome meal to eat. I always love the flavour of teriyaki and often will choose this if it a flavour choice when I am out at a restaurant. This flavour was really nice and something id happily buy and use again although I have to honestly say it's not my favourite sauce from the range, nor is it the best tasting teriyaki sauce I have tried.

The sauce itself is easy to use, the pack comes with 2 separate sauces which you tear in half and use at different stages throughout the cooking process. The first sauce you use is the infusion sauce so after chopping up my chicken I added it to a bowl and mixed it in, and left it to sit and 'infuse' for several minutes while I prepared the rest of the stirfry ingredients. I cooked up the chicken and then added my vegetables and noodles and then finally the finishing sauce. The sauces both looked rather similar in colour and reminded me of a thick soy sauce. The smell could leave one feeling a bit puzzled in what the flavour actually is as it smelt a lot more like a peanut satay sauce to me than it did a teriyaki, but perhaps this had something to do with the sesame flavouring?

The sauce was plentiful amongst the chicken, brocolli, beans, cauliflower, carrot and noodles that I used, and the flavours complemented each other well. The whole family loved this meal and Miss 2 at the time was asking for more, I think the fact she was eating noodles with her dinner was a bit of a hit to be honest, however the chicken and vegetables seem to disappear just as well.

This is another easy to use and tasty flavour base from Watties that would probably go well with many different types of meats and vegetables rather than just those which I used, swapping noodles for rice would also be a great way of creating a bit of variety to the meal as well.

I am totally in love with these sauces and I am slowly making my way through each and every flavour!! This is the third flavour I have tried so far and I like them all...this one I didn't like as much as the other two flavours but it is still great tasting and so easy to use.

As soon as you open the infusion sachet to flavour the chicken the smell of Asia hits your nose with authentic flavours and even with it infusing the chicken for only a few minutes the flavour really infuses! The infusion sauce sticks to the chicken while cooking and makes it sticky and gooey and the dish just seems to get better!

The I add the veggies and the the finishing sauce which open is super easy to open, where usually when packets have a rip section they never rip open properly but so far the tops have ripped off easily and cleanly aware the flow of the sauce to come out easy as. Plus with the flexible pouch I can squeeze all the sauce out and none is left in the packet.

The finishing sauce is where the flavour really starts to kick in and like the sauce says finishes the dish off perfectly....with a thick soy sauce base it sticks to everything in the dish...the chicken and veggies and in my case the egg noodles I cooked and stirred through. The finished dish really does taste like a professional chef made it and in my opinion tastes like something out of a 5 star restaurant ...but no it was just little ol' me cooking it up in my kitchen.

I am totally stoked with these new taste sensations fro Maggi and I know they will be at the top of my shopping list for a long time to come....simple to use and great tasting...even it this flavour isn't my favourite I will continue to buy it and make it as a change from the other yummier flavours I have fallen in love with.

I have recommended them to just about all of my friends and even recommended them to a lady in the supermarket that was looking at another simmer sauce and from what I said she put a couple of packets of these in her trolley!

Having recently tried the Honey, Soy & Garlic Chicken flavour, I decided to give this flavour a go next. There are a couple of acceptable flavours in my household when it comes to stir fry sauces. They have to be either a Chinese honey soy style or a Teriyaki. Often a Thai flavour is too hot for my husband and daughter.

Like the other flavours in this range, the packet is a two part flavour sachet. I like that it's compact and was easy to store. When I came to use this one, I did give it a bit of a work out. I got my chicken out of the fridge, poured the pieces into a bowl. Then I opened the infusion side of the packet. This time I tried to rip the packet right across, just to see if I could. I couldn't! So the mid seam in this packet is really well designed. It means you are unlikely to open both sides accidently, and you could potentially save the other side for another time entirely.

When I opened the packet the smell of sesame hit hard. It was so nutty I thought it was satay, but then I realised it was the seeds. I love sesame so this was really nice. I cooked this up with fresh stir-fry vegetables of carrot sticks, broccoli, and red cabbage. I added some Hokkien noodles as well. I gave everyone a good portion of the mixture.

My fussy daughter ate the chicken and the noodles and some broccoli. My baby happily munched down her noodles. My husband ate his chicken and noodles too. Unfortunately, the vegetables were unacceptable, but that had nothing to do with the sauce and everything to do with them being fresh and not pre-cooked/frozen. Still, the flavour sachet did its job and the rest of the meal was delicious. Another good flavour by Maggi.
