ETA Salad Dressing Caramelised Onion product reviews

Take a peek in your pantry, fridge or freezer, or the shelves of your local supermarket, and it's likely you'll spot more than a few products we make.

As well as instantly recognisable items such as baby food, tomato sauce, baked beans and soups, there's a host of other great brands that are part of the Heinz Wattie's family.

Eta Salad Dressings help you turn an ordinary salad or meal into something deliciously interesting. Eta Caramelised Onion Salad Dressing, is perfect for dressing your favourite salad or when you are feeling a little more adventurous, it makes a nice marinade too.

I love dressing with my salad or in my case salad with my dressing as I often drown the salad in a puddle of dressing. I also love caramelised onion so this is the perfect combination for me!

I bought this for making a chicken salad so wanted a dressing that had lots of flavour to complement the chicken and this caught my eye in the dressing aisle at the supermarket. The eta range of dressings are cheap as chips compared to other dressings but they are still really tasty and this one is the best I have tried. IT is sweet and savoury and has a nice thick texture to it which makes it really nice.

Because it is quite thick and is quite sauce like I have also used it to flavour my mixture when making home made hamburgers and it gave a really nice flavour to the burgers. I also stirred some through some hot rice and veges which was amazing so it is really a very versatile product that you can use for so much more than dressing salad.
