My daughter who is 2, is like a little Bunny Rabbit, she would sit and eat fruit and veges all day long if i'd let her. Of all foods in this world carrots are her absolute favorite! Usually I end up cutting up 3 or 4 carrots at a time and keeping them in a container in the fridge so that I can pull these out for her when she wants them. When I saw these in the supermarket I brought them in the hope that Miss 2 would like them, knowing that it would mean I wouldn't have to cut up endless amounts of carrots all the time I was really hoping she would.
Miss 2 loved these carrots and was excited about her "little ones". They are so convenient, they come in a cute little plastic bag, and are the most perfect size for children to eat and hold, they are a great snack or a great side of vegetable to go with any meal, or in any lunch box. The carrots last really well for about a week, and definetely don't loose there crispness and taste over time which you might expect to happen. They taste great on their own, or my daughter also likes to eat them dunked in peanut butter, or with a small pot of hummus, dip or aioli.
They are great to serve up at birthday parties or BBQ's and are always enjoyed as a healthy, tasty snack by children and adults alike. The price may seem a little steep for carrots, but if you need convenience or a healthy option on the run these are definetely a great way to go.
I find it so refreshing when you can find packaged things for children that are actually healthy so I love these little snack packs of carrots. My daughter loves crunchy carrots so these snack packs are great for putting in her school lunch boxes. The carrots are pre-peeled so you can eat them straight from the packet making them so convenient.
The little packets are a great size for a lunch box snack too and as they are baby carrots they have that nice sweet carrot taste. The carrots are always fresh and crunchy too and because they are peeled and packaged they do not brown on the outside like they do if I peel my own carrots and put them in her lunch box.
As they are in little packets it also means you can put them in your bag when going out on a family walk to have a little snack while you are out. My son 14 months hasn't quite figured out how to chew these yet as he still has trouble eating hard foods like apples and carrots but he still loves them and gives it his best go.
My son loves carrots so finding these is great means I don't have to cut up carrots all the time now, they come in a neat size bag in the vege area in the supermarket, they are the prefect size for a child, pop them in lunchboxes for an easy snack.
They stay nice and crisp and taste really good I'm happy to eat them as a snack as well. I have also found my best friend while cooking honey carrots, I use these, they are already prefect size, they coat really well with the honey and sauces and taste really good with that yummy CRUNCH.
Going to dinner parties or having kids parties pulling a few of these packets out is great, I have found these are always the first bowl/plate empty on the table and thats awesome means everyone is getting something healthy and enjoying it.
PREFECT
I have bought these baby carrots a couple of times. I love that they are convenient, as they are already peeled. They are small enough to fit into a snack container to go to work with me or to school with a child. I find that they are the right size for a snack platter at parties. The carrot's shape makes an excellent dip delivery system too.
These carrots are not just great for raw eating. I have heated them with a little orange juice to make a yummy orange steamed carrot side with a roast dinner. I am a bit awful with fresh fruit and vegetables as well, often leaving them to go soft before I use them. I found that I could use these in a carrot cake or in cake muffins. Because they are baby carrots they seemed to add a bit more sweetness to my baking that the traditional carrots I get.
The bag these carrots come in, is easy to rip into. Its clear which means you can see the carrots in the bag easily. This is important to me, as I like to inspect produce before I take it home. A clear baggy allows me to do that. The price is not too bad for the convenience, though I feel it would be cheaper to just buy a kg of normal carrots. Still I wouldn't use them in the same way as these baby ones.
My kids love prepacked baby carrots, so crisp and delicious and cute. Which is very important in a carrot lol. And these are prefect for popping in the lunchbox or as a snack during the day. Especially because you know that they are better than a packet of crisps or a piece of cake.
It is so hard to get kids to eat veges these days, and I have a seriously fussy eater, who would rather throw himself on the ground and cry, then actually eat vegetables, and he is nearly a teenager. But when we have these available I know he will eat them. There is also something about a baby carrot that is just so much nicer that an adult carrot ya know. So much sweeter, tastier, easier to eat and these ones are super crunchy too (raw obviously)
The great thing about these carrots is that they come in packs and are healthy for you, oh and they do not fill you up too much before dinner, which means that they are okay for an afterschoool snack too. This is such a great idea. My kids preferred these in their lunchboxes over the prepacked apples you can buy which are usually soft and yucky anyway.

Yummy chicken and five veggies in miniature ravioli size. A clever and tasty way to sneak in some veggies! Plus, with all natural ingredients and no added flavours or colours is a good source of fibre.
