Sunsilk has once again teamed up with Yuko Yamashita, international Straight Hair Expert from Japan, to co-create the Sunsilk Straight range - a hair care and style solution for women who want to lock in their straight shape, direct from the shower.
Yuko, a global leader in straightening, says, "I have sought to re-create the magic moment between wet and dry hair, when your hair looks perfectly straight and beautifully aligned".
The result is Sunsilk Straight, an advanced product formulated with Straight-Lock Technology, which actively controls and gently binds hair together into a simple and elegant, straight style. The range includes Sunsilk Straight Shampoo, Sunsilk Straight Conditioner and a Sunsilk Straight Detangling Mist, all which utilised Straight Lock Technology to seal straightness and control the way in which the hair dries.
Get perfectly straight hair, direct from the shower.

This has been my stable go to, use every few days no matter what shampoo for the last three years or so! Needless to say I love it or I wouldn't have bothered to continue using it. I do at times use more expensive salon based shampoo/conditioner but tend to break this up with using Sunsilk in between so the more expensive stuff lasts longer. I have fine hair which is straight but with a slight wave so this product is suited perfectly for my hair. I do also colour my hair at the hairdressers regularly so often I will also use the Sunsilk range for coloured hair which is equally as good.
Because my hair is very fine I often have lots of fly-aways and a little bit of frizz going on however I find with using this shampoo (and I always follow up with conditioner too) it definately helps and I have less fly-aways n frizz. I like the smell of this range, as its not to strong or overpowering meaning my husband is happy to use it too which we find is great ~ less products cluttering up the shower and less to buy during the supermarket shopping. Which brings me to another great thing I like about this product is that it seems to always be on sale when I go to buy it - anything cheaper than normal has got to be good!
The consistency of this shampoo is good - it isnt too runny or too thick and it lathers nicely - you don't need heaps of the product to cover all your hair. I have no bad points/things I don't like to mention about this product so definately recommend to all - I know I will be continuing to use it for the next however many years!
My hair is very fine, and often has lots of fly-aways and frizz going on. This is thanks in part to my laziness when it comes to getting regular trims in the last year. It's also a little bit due to having had a baby recently. Hormonal changes can cause your hair to fall out more and new growth makes your hair look crazy. So I was looking for a shampoo to kind of help fix my hair.
I stumbled on this shampoo in the supermarket about a month back. I must admit that what caught my eye first was the big yellow "special" sign underneath the bottle. I picked up a few different kinds in the range and I quickly settled on this Straight Perfection. My hair is naturally straight, though it has a bit of a wave to it lately.
When I got it home, I jumped in the shower and tried it out. I was very impressed with the smell, not too overpowering. Next the fact it lathered so incredibly well. In fact the lather I achieved put many of the other shampoos I have tried recently to shame! My hair felt very squeaky clean afterwards. It also felt strangely conditioned. I did add a bit of the conditioner from the same Straight Perfection type. My hair felt silky and straight after my shower. You didn't need much of either product at all.
After a week or so of use I definitely noticed an improvement to the fly-aways and the straightness of my hair. I don't have time to actually straighten my hair, so it was nice to have almost that look without the effort. It's not perfect, but it did a good job of delivering mostly what was promised and for the price and effort I put in, I was happy.
I normally buy my shampoo's from the salon as I have quite frizzy hair and like to keep it straight and sleek so spend a bit of money on shampoos that are specifically designed to straighten and control frizz. I bought this recently as I had run out of shampoo and couldnt get to the salon to buy more of the one I normally get and I was pleasantly surprised with the results.
After shampooing and blow drying my hair without having straightened it it was definetly straighter than it would of been if I had used a different shampoo. I now use this for my daughters hair as she has similar hair to me and a friend of hers recently cut her a fringe which is completely wrong for her texture of hair and we are just waiting for it to grow out.
When she washes her hair with this it helps flatten the fringe out as it dries so it doesn't all curl up and frizz, it is getting to the stage now where she can semi tuck it behind the ears and this shampoo helps so that she doesn't get the sticky up bits just above the ears where the fresh baby hairs grow.
